You still gotta level them up... or cheat with Black Chocobo. The patch wont make you do 9999+ it just allows you to do more than 9999 damage. Am I missing something?

yeah that's what i did just to see if it worked still did't work, everyone was level 99 max exp and there stats were all at 255

Reinstall menu overhaul with the option to install menu with 9999 patch selected. Don't use any other 9999 patch; don't use the one in bootloader, don't use the one in ff7opengl.cfg.

OK will do, tho i did try bootloader and ff7opengl.cfg tho both ended up with same result going to reinstall the menu overhaul now

EDIT: No go did not work even maxed everyone out still only doing little damage.

I have modded with bootleg and i wanted the 9999 limit patch on, only problem is it aint working. tried to edit it in ff7_openg but it just messes the battle menu up, also tried putting the patch on manually and still nothing my HP/MP will go over  the limit but damage wont any ideas?

just a little problem with bootloader, when i try to configure  the screen size it say's it "failed to  set the requested screen mode" is there any fix for this? thanks

Sounds like a KERNEL.BIN/scene.bin problem. Comes from editing the scene.bin too extensively. Proud Clod can fix that for you. Just download it and "checking the KERNEL.BIN" (or something like that) is one of the menu items.

I got really confused to trying to mod it is a pain for newbies. i like yourself had the same problem but lucky for me i had help from my step dad to convert my disc to a iso so will have to do that on your own. As for moding your ff7 files are on you hard drive for example mine is C:\Program Files\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII and that is were programs like bootleg mod your game.

As i recall bootleg don't work with 2012 version but it dose convert it to the 1998 version. I would recommend using iso with daemon tools lite as it's easy to use and i have never had a problem with it. I don't see why it would matter if you started using iso's after using bootleg as bootleg only mods the files really. Give daemon tools lite a try with iso's because i never get insert disc unless i forget to mount the dam thing haha

well lucky for me i still have the original files for the game (unmoded), so im going to play the unmoded version get past the battle and then continue with the moded version  just to see if it's that one battle or not. If not would you recommend i reinstall my mods with bootleg?

Hi so im on disc 3 of FF7 and i started fighting ultimate weapon only to find that it wasn't ultimate weapon i was fighting, it's yuffie.     basicly i have yuffie in my party but when we go into battle she is there instead of ultimate weapon ( yes there's two yuffie's and yes i have tried without her in my party) , you have one attack then nothing happens, any idea what it could be?

I have used bootleg for all my mods, so i don't think that could be an issue (could be wrong lol) the only other thing i can think of is i shouldn't of killed emerald weapon on disc 2.

Gameplay / Junon/Midgar Continent, what causes the change of world map?

I thought one of my mods went wrong and tbh i have never noticed this before   but when you have the Highwind onwards, the eastern continent changes. On disk one, you can walk from The Mine to Junon. This is not possible later in the game cause of extra streams, one just south of where you get on/off sub at Junon, and a big pool of water where you first come across the weapon you can kill on disk 3 that flies around the world map. Unless i'm missing some very silly thing from the plot, i cant get my head around this. is this meant to be there or has my game screwed up? dose Anyone else have a explanation this?

It's a Intel graphics media accelerator driver for mobile what ever that is  lol clearly i don't know much about this stuff  what i have i done is put my hard drive with ff7 on it on this laptop but the game wont open up hence why i thought i needed NVIDIA.

Hi, I have had abit of bad luck lately when my mother bored on my other laptop decided to die  and therefore is now trying to using another laptop to play ff7 it on (only a temporary thing). Only problem is that this lap top don't have a NVIDIA graphics card on it  .
So i just wondered if there is another way around this or do i have to wait until i get my other laptop going? (£100 later)

Sorry for the noobie question but thanks for your help  .

1. Never install Phoenix Rejuv, it's not compatible with anything. You can get the PRP models through the Unified Model Installer.

2. Isn't the AC mod wiped from the internet by square?

3. Install Aali's driver 0.7.11b, not 7b

Before you do all this, uninstall, delete the whole ff7 folder with the leftover files, and reinstall the game. Make sure it's a max install.

This is the order:

1.02 patch
aali's driver
then whatever you want

thank you mate i will give it a try, is there any other mods you would recommend as well as i really wouldn't mind the cool little pics on the menu too or will it come with it lol

hi people, I'm very much new to the hole modding scene and i do need a little help. So basically i have applied the AC mod (in hope of more realistic characters), now cloud looks great along with Barret but when i am i battle with Tifa, Aeris, Cid, Yuffie the game glitch's and some body parts are missing (Tifa is the worst). So can some one please help me resolve this?

This is a list of installed mods/patch's i have already:

1.02 Retail patch
Aali’s Custom Graphics Driver (v0.78b)
Phoenix Rejuvenation Project (Version 0.1)(i did install this before Team Avalanche’s Graphical Overhaul)
Team Avalanche’s Graphical Overhaul
AC mod (found on YouTube)

I am running the game on a laptop (windows 7 32 bit system) via Damond tools and the disc files are .mds files (the game wouldn't run with ISO's i did convert from the original my self) if that help's, the game runs lovely on my system and up till now there  has been no problems. 

I would be great full if you could help me
