Yeah im clueless when it comes to textures  :-P  I actually start over i learn some new techniques and took timu's advice its coming along rather quickly im almost to where i was on my first model.

That's actually not a bad idea... it could be inserted as part of the ToS agreement (If we have one...? I don't remember when I signed up... it was long ago...)

Then it could be mandatorily retaken every so often...3 weeks seems like a working number that wouldn't be TOO annoying and would still be enough to remind people...

It could also be used as a form of punishment... People who make enough posts to catch some form of attention, but not necessarily enough for permaban could be required to retake the test before each post XD

in any case, it has naught to do with me in the end...

I don't remember there being a tos agreement and it hasn't even been a year since i signed up but then again i could be wrong.

its a little too "round" if you ask me, try to make it a bit more edgy. the engines n propellors are pretty much just deformd cylinders, if that helps ye any

ok im not quite sure how the propellers work since they spin in game there is another file that just the propeller though. Also the back propeller is on the model i was wondering if it is in a different file but i didn't find it any clue to where it is?

Maybe he'll like to take over im not quite sure how to make the engine and propellers. But ill try working on it later i will probably some one to texture it for me tho.

 I was going to remake a new highwind model, and try to texture it good. I not to good at texturing and all. So I decided to post these pics i was using as a reference to my model, and a video of my model. I not sure if its any good so i decided to post about it before i even tried to finish.

and now that i can actually see the textures... they look very, very good... they are making the summons themselves look bad because the 2d is outdoing the 3d XD.

That means your doing a great job sl1982. I  bet someone will get to those sooner or later.

Troubleshooting / Textures in blender

How do you texture something in blender? I cant seem to figure it out i used to have 3d max on my last computer, but it crashed. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

HERMOOR there is no need to ruin a perfectly good there take your nansence elsewhere i know pyrozen will not appreciate this as well as everyone else that supports this mod.

I certainly can't wait for the actual patcher release! Hopefully that is some time soon.  :-)

I dont know about any time soon pryozen takes his time so he does the job right and dont have to do it again. His work is exellent and making textures from scratch is time consuming and he still has the ocean and rivers ahead of him probably the toughest part out of them.
