Post by: elque on 2011-05-19 03:21:24
I was playing ff7 this afternoon, i saved my game then i took it off. A couple of minutes ago i click the ff7 icon and it tells me, to insert disc 1. But disc one its already mounted like it always is. How can i fix this.

Disc one is mounted on Drive: H
Im running windows 7.

Try re-mounting the image. I get the same problem using Daemon tools.

You seem to be missing the "Datadrive" in your registry. Try this, I don't know if it'll work but it's worth a shot.

1) Right click -> New -> String Value.
2) Call it DataDrive
3) Double click on DataDrive and change the Value data to H:

You'll have to do the same for your movie path.

1) New string value called "MoviePath".
2) Double click on it and put in the path to where your FFVII movies are. For example mine is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII\data\Movies\".

If you have any more problems it would proably be better to just re-install the game.

Anyway, glad I could help  :).

Thanks for all the help. I had to re-install the game. I backup my saved game. Now everything is back to normal. Thanks
