Windows 7 not letting me play

on vista, i could play FF7 no problem, i upgraded to windows 7, and now, after clicking the exe to the game, it flashes black then..... nothing, at all

any ideas?

i have already tried that several times, as well as running in in compatability, neither works

It works fine on my windows 7. What are your specs?
Are you using Aali's custom drivers?

actually, i just reinstalled it yesterday and now its working fine, maybe something got messed up during file movement in upgrading to windows 7

That is probably what happened, in place OS upgrades and never full proof.  your better off formatting and a clean install.
