Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could try this?  I don't have a FFVII save near the motorcycle point to try my self.

Ok I am thinking of the refresh force in DirectX.  Enable it like this. (for DirectX 9)

1. Go to Start Menu -> Run
2. Type DXDIAG and press enter.
3. Click "More Help"
4. Click "Override"
5. Choose "Override Value"
6. Type "60" in the box.  With out "" of course.
7. Press OK.
8. Close DXDIAG.

Ok, then run FF VII and try the motorcycle.  Does it go super fast still?

Archive / How to select "Soundfont MIDI" in FF 7?
« on: 2003-06-26 03:09:23 »
Hi all,

I have an Audigy 2 and Windows XP right now.

I am wondering if it is possible for me to select "Soundfont MIDI Creative AWE32/AWE64" in the FF 7 configuration program and use it?  (as I'd like to use the FF7 dynamic sound fonts that come with the game)

Thanks for any help!!! :-)

Archive / FF8 PC EAX Questions
« on: 2003-06-09 05:58:44 »
Hi all,

I have some questions about EAX and FF 8 for PC.

Does FF8 PC support EAX 1.0 or 2.0?

How does this work exactly?  I mean it seems kind of odd for EAX on a game like FF 8.  Is it a noticeable improvement over no EAX?

Right now I have a Blaster PCI 128 card.  If I upgrade to an Audigy 2 will I be able to use EAX in FF 8?

Regardless of EAX, would an Audigy 2 over a Blaster PCI 128 make much of an audio difference in both FF 7 and FF 8.  (I have both for PC)

Thanks!
