Game won't start from 7H (failed to find flevel.lgp)

Hi, I can not seem to launch the game from 7H and I get the following log:

I installed the game from Steam so no Standard or Max install, I have the french version of the game and my file is named fflevel.gp and not flevel.gp so there is that. Don't know what to do, any insight ?

looks like you may be using a non-English version of the game and enfortunately 7H 2.0 only works with the english version However you should be able to tun the old game converter first then try using 7th heaven again and should be ok

You can use the GC or just rename all your French specific files to the English version. flevel.lgp is an example, but there are a few others that need renamed as well.

Thanks for the answers. It's a shame we can't choose the version we want to install. I've tried renaming the files but it just creates new errors and the game won't launch the normal way either. I've never used the Game Converter, maybe I should give it a try...

i would run the game converter and try that make sure you do it on a fresh install of FF7 since you already attempted to change the files but most people with your issue have reported that running the converter worked for them
