Having a hard time getting rare cards on TTG?  when you play the card queen, click "auto-select" ,  THEN click "remove all"  a random number of times and see if your opponet has and cards you dont have.  i dont know if its somekind of prethought -of trick of the programer or if its just luck,  but i know im getting more rare cards than i was before i tried this.  is this working for anyone else?  or am i just crazy?

Hey dude, you dont have to be such a dick.  I play TTG and many other people do as well if you think about it  (although im sure you did, seen as how i know how DEEP you are and all),  I cant  be the only one playing it when its probably  the most popular thing about Qhimms  hole sight.  (no offense to qhimm.  im a regular visiter ).  I dont know why you even steped into trying to bash me, when you didnt have all that much to say.  if you want to bad mouth me, i can bad mouth you too.

i simply said that not many of *us* being the members of this board play actively that i KNOW of. Learn how to read before you start being a flaming ass.

And as for joey's comment, if by a small chance that was directed at him, that could be taken in a few different ways.

Jesus.

This is an example of why users need to be registered and logged-in.

Anonimous user:  No one was trying to bash you, at least I didn't see it that way.  I don't like it when people ask something, they get a response that they don't like, and start to insult.  If you don't like what you read here, then don't post anything.  You asked the question nicely, but when Darkness or Joey responded, you posted a very hostile message.  Any one will give you an answer sooner or later, so be patient.  You don't have to start flaming here.

I do play TTG, and no I have not tried that trick.  Chances are that you are right, because I still have many rare cards to find.  And since it takes a long time to get another rare card, maybe Qhimm decided to do something like this in order to speed up the time to get all cards.

Another thing,  TTG is not the most popular thing in Qhimm's site.  So I wouldn't doubt that other people don't play it.  The very first thing that got me interested in Qhimm's site was the game editor Jenova.  That is the main reason of why many of us came to this site.

I know it didn't help you much, but someone might consider doing that trick for you and answer your question.  As for me, I have other things to do.  Qhimm might give you a response (This relates to what Joey said).

Right, all personal stuff ends right here. Okay?

As for your question: I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but there's no special code in there which does what you describe. Practice game is, as boring as it sounds, entirely fair play.

Who was it discovered a way to hack the thing or something so they could get all the cards? And yes the main reason I came to this site was for the Jenova editor.

Also Dagsverre told me about it.

Yeah, someone found the memory location where TTG stores all owned cards

But don't worry, the next version will have protection against memory hacking... Mwhahaha

So there is gonna be a next version, and you can try to make it hacker prof but it'll never be completely hacker proof will it? Just look at the remake project and what they have done.

Actually, your deck's card's data is stored in the file called settings.dat. Back that one up, and restore it if you lose cards.  :D

Actually to win in TT in FF8 is to have 50 ultima weapon cards and using 5 of them in each game. Cover the 2 in each move, and it's a sure win.

Forgot to mention, you can either card elastoids until you go bonkers or use griver to get 100 Ultima Weapon cards(what I always do..)

I've only just downloaded TTG it as I've only just discovered it, but it seems quite good so far ^^

I must say though, that even if a new version comes out to defend against hackers, any hacker that wants to try could probably make their way around it.  This is the type of problem that keeps coming up continuously in every case.

If anyone here was aware of the beta Ragnarok Online, that was its biggest problem.  Hackers and bots.  And every time a new patch came out, more hackers and bots!  Just different..

But good luck!  Hopefully most people will be honest enough to try and earn their cards.  And those that are will enjoy the game more, anyways.

(and sorry for resurrecting this old post, but i just felt the need to express my view O.o)

Come on...you all know you want an eternal post about TTG...^_^

It wasn't what first attracted me to the site...Greiver, Jenova, and Garden were.  :o

...since everyone is mentioning what <spoiler>brought them here before the beginning of time... </spoiler>
