FFVII Stream read error

I used :
-sephiroth patch
-Handpatch
I tried to edit the char.lgp (replacing sephy head with the one I modify). It worked well but when I apply the hand patch, it's always "Stream read error" and now all the char don't have hands  why's that ?? Plzzz help.

Becasue the sephy patch screws with char.lgp, and makes it unrecognizable to other patches.  So, sorry, no sephy-patch for you if you want hands.

I'd say uninstal and reinstal the game, then decide what you want moe: Sephy, or hands.  Can't have both, it seems =(

Oh, thanks but I already know the trick now =P . I just copy my char.lgp(backup) to somewhere else (new folder) and I apply the hand patch to the char.lgp(*backup). And it worked !!  . Although it's not the one in the field folder it seemed to target the exe or something.
