Inaccurate magic Dance. It is in Konoha folder. White noisy edges and very poor quality. Plus as you can notice the right side of the Maple Leaf is cut in the game, cause some leaves need to be shifted left (I don't know why game developments did it):

7th Heaven / Game crashes + solution

Hi. The part of my mod was the adding of the cursor (The link to that part is below).
That mod adds just two files: btl_win_b_l_01.png and btl_win_b_h_01.png
I launch the game with this mod, I can see that new cursor works, it is in menu, but when I click to load Save - the game crashes.
The Reunion works with this mod (but there are black squares instead of numerals), and 7H just crashes.

I was able to state that 7H requires btl_win_b_h_07.png file (it contains menu Numerals) to be present also - my exact mod works perfectly if I add btl_win_b_h_07.png to the menu folder.

Maybe it is Aali.dll bug, but, to say again, The Reunion doesn't crash.

And isn't it should be the original file to be used if there is no such file in the mod?

When adding the iro to 7th Heaven it shows up twice. Game wont launch because this mod is showing up twice in my mod list but I only moved that single iro file. If I try and delete one in the list, both get deleted.

Edit: After installing it and leaving it at the bottom of the load order it doesn't duplicate itself and works. Also, does this mod alter the pointer? Mine is still the original. Font looks really good in game, nice work.
Not sure why it's shown twice. I've tested it - it has one copy.
Yes, the pointer is original. Everything is original except letters and joypad buttons.

By the way, i decided to give a try for adding x360 buttons myself, so if you give permission, i can leave a download link with some screenshots attached, and if it's to your liking, you can use it in your final release as well.

Done it. Link is in the main post. Though I don't think 7H natively supports pad buttons like the Reunion does.

It didn't work. I have to re-edit the whole font just for .IRO. Don't want it yet.

Yes, it seems like my problem and it is. You should resize to 1024x1024, then use my method above (save as .tiff without layer then save tiff as png). Or. When resizing use Nearest Neighbor resample.
Why it doesn't like 256x256 - I don't know.

XBOX buttons would be great! Of course, that is up your decision though. It's just that for PC version i think XBOX buttons would be more appropriate.

Also, i've been trying to modify some of the original Reunion usfont files, so what i did is, extract the font textures, modify the pngs i got from textures, and then place them into textures folder (the one where pngs should be, not the tex files), the textures work correctly, but the result i get is this, even with unmodified textures, just extracted ones: http://www.mediafire.com/view/lpgrsdy0le4pwsz/FF7_EN%202020-04-28%2012-46-38-00.bmp

Is this a transparency issue, or am i missing something?
Not sure why, but I think Reunion suggests to use 1024x1024 font-sheets.
Original sheets are 256x256. I tried to use original ones too and got the same issue. My suggestion is to enlarge original font-sheets to 1024x1024

How to install:

The Reunion users.
• Download either PSX buttons support .zip or XBOX buttons .zip archive.
• Unpack that archive to the "...\The_Reunion\GLOBAL\Texture" directory of your Final Fantasy VII (so "menu" folder from .zip should replace "menu" folder in ...\Texture directory, and "flevel" should replace "flevel"). It is the easiest way. You can also use ...\The_Reunion\CUSTOM directory. Read The Reunion manual for that.

The 7th Heaven users.
• Download .IRO file.
• Launch the 7th Heaven.
• On the most right part of the program click the first icon - "Import mod", then click the picture of a folder, then choose downloaded .iro file of ZomiPlayFont. Click OK.

Aali.dll or FFNx.dll (without Reunion and 7th Heaven).
• Open ff7_opengl.cfg (if using Aali.dll) or FFNx.cfg (if using FFNx.dll) in any text editor.
• Find string "mod_path =". Make sure there is NO "#" right before that string on the same line (delete # if it is there). Type desired mod path. For example it should look like this: mod_path = mods\Textures It means that the game will look for textures in your Final Fantasy VII ...\mods\Textures folder.
• Save .cfg file.
• Unpack ZomiPlayFont .zip archive to that folder signed in "mod_path =". In my example it would be ...\mods\Textures.


Issues:
• This font isn't friendly with 7th Heaven. It will work, but if you use other UI mods that change symbols position (Enhanced UI for example), then it can get messy, letters can stand on each other.
• There is something strange with vertical borders - sometimes it's ok, but sometimes their vertical bright line is shifted to the right. Standart borders are ok. But modified borders should suit perfectly.
I'm sure it's that bad scaling FF7 thing. In one pattern it scales so there are more dark lines, and another patern - more bright lines - so those patterns won't match. In high resolutions there is no such thing. The only fix I can think of is to make very blury border.
Or maybe I miss something, and it is not scaling thing.

• The similar issue to above one. The disabled cursor (when you summon an esper) is shifting all the time, because its disabled and enabled state do not match, but they are, I calculated it to the every pixel. Standart cursor is ok. (I don't want to shift the cursor, because I don't understand the reason of this issue, It IS on its position.) Must be scaling problem again.

Description:
The main reason to create this project was a lack of existing fonts (or I didn't find any suitable) for The Reunion mod with "New_Translation" option is ON. I played FF7 with the great Avalanche Team GUI 2.1.0 , but for some reason it doesn't contain a lot of symbols (controller buttons, some apostrophes/qoutes and so on) and it is hard to read for me - too large spaces between letters:

Also, will the font have included PS and XBOX buttons?
At the moment it has PS buttons. It can be done with XBOX ones though.

The Reunion + Satsuki's Backgrounds + Ninostyle models (Chibi Field version).

Hey, I'm new and trying to run these 3 mods together, however I'm experiencing some problems. Everything seems to be installed correctly and functioning to some degree.

Issues:
- World character models are not updated
- Vehicles not updated
- Characters who haven't been updated by the mods yet have strange eyes and mouths.

All these mods were installed through manual instruction methods and not 7th Heaven. I do launch the game with 7th Heaven, if that makes a difference.

Anyone else ran these mods successfully together?
I use those mods and it works. But I don't use 7h, I use Reunion only. And as far as I know if you launch 7H then it automatically disables Reunion. So If you install those mods into Reunion folder then it won't work.

If it's not the issue, then... I use Ninostyle "direct mod", so I should install his mod into Direct folder of the Reunion (don't know about 7H).
For vehicles - it is separate mod, it is not included in his main mod. You should download it separately (watch his list of mods). And you should copy FILES (not folders) into "...\direct\world" folder. For example in ninostyle vehicles mod there is \hw\World_us.lgp\ folder with files. You should copy those files and paste them into "...\direct\world" folder

How is that a bug with R06e?
With New_translation OFF it is OK ( https://i.imgur.com/QAVDrpo.jpg , https://i.imgur.com/kCmmkbV.jpg ), in Menus it is OK. I think, that Reunion with New_translation ON shifts cursor a little bit more than the game reserves for it.
Yes, maybe you doesn't have to concern about other mods... but I don't think that mod creators will always take into account Reunion and I don't think they will create their mods to look good in Reunion, so all font-mods will look like this, with cropped cursors. My opinion, Reunion should be mod friendly... But it is my opinion) Sorry)

Noticed one more thing. If I use HQ font (cursor is from GUI 2.1.0 for example) and Reunion 06e with New_Translation ON then cursor is unproperly cropped from the left in dialogues. In menus it is ok:

Hi, Aavock. Thank you. Found it. That artifact is from big "S". There is a few pixels of the upper left part of big "T" in it. I should have noticed it earlier :(

Please, help. Another problem. Adapting font for menu. I get some artifacts and can't understand where it came from? Which symbols do this?


Look words "Status" (above "a"), "Config" (under "g"), "Save" (above "v"). But there are a lot of that symbols in other words, and they are ok. For example"a" in "Status". Where that artifact came from? it is not from "a" - other "a"s are OK, and it is not from neighbor "t", cause other "t"s are ok. So where from? Transparency is OK also, I checked it.

Here is my reduced font-sheet with grid 96x96 pixels. And every letter is in it's own square, nothing is out of its borders (except shadow of "g")

Windows 7 pro 32-bit, GeForce GT 710
I've found 32bit texconv.exe in DirectX SDK (june 2010), but it is only 47KB - and your texconv is 3.28MB. And still it doesn't work :( But 32bit version launchs, and your texconv gives error in log.txt
