To give you an idea I submitted a fix for the exe issues.  It should be done by the next update the rest is for her to figure out the file structure for configurations options.

I found some applications just plain dont work on this new windows.  There should be a way to use the old ones on here.  You can always get a emulation for the older ones.

You'll have to run the cmd and install it that way.  Look up the guide on google and be sure to run as admin.

Loaded the dll in the right folder?  Should still be in the sys32 folder or something like that.  You should be able to find how to do it easily on Google.  It works fine on my end.

I unfortunately I have bad news.  The model bug has just popped up for me.  It came out of nowhere it was working correctly now just out of the blue they stopped moving then tried to reopen and then it overlap each other again.

I had a similar issue with older ones as well.  If I remember what caused it i'll edit this post.

So EQ2 is it okay to ask how my Sephiroth one is doing?  Havent gotten a question about it for awhile so just want to make sure it is good.

Not sure if this was not fixed but I am still getting the model bug where the one first selected stay on and animations dont play.

Probably pretty well since I haven't gotten any messages for questions on how the exe and files are made up of.  I would say maybe two weeks unless they are working on the game stopping bugs which always comes first.  EQ is pretty good with updates even if she takes forever getting back to you but keep in mind she has actual job that can take away from this since she needs to earn a living for her family too.

Remember we have the converter in the step for a reason.  This program is only set for the old retail version that the converter changes the steam one too.  Don't worry you still have your steam one.

Yes this is a weird issue the catalog deletion step in the roaming data is so you don't try to download the old buggy mods and no active flags to prevent certain aspects of one mod destroying another.  Also if you use my Sephiroth mod through this catalog do not use the field model as Sephiroth will look funky in the field as I just used the original field model and replaced them where Cloud is.  I told EQ this so she will probably change it so you can use them together as I usually do.  The only thing is the battle models and what not.  Some issues there but she has been made aware of so sit tight for that change as well.

Music is in flevel I believe but unlisted so they could be hard coded as ones I tried in different areas didn't work.  The area that they fight in is scene.bin in the formation data.

What do you mean in shifts in the battle?  FF7 probably has it's version of what you are thinking as the tec was limited back then so you need to be a bit more specific in how you mean.

I made a new change in the crater section to test out a new idea to make the models I want to function how I need them.  However when I hit the button it says it was complete yet nothing went into the folder.

Edit ignore this sorry figured out it was because I had it open still in Makou tool so just use this to make sure you have it closed too.

Yes you have to remove all the old stuff and load the new stuff hence why she tells you to remove the appdata stuff so it is fresh and crisp.

Also we are working to get the Safer to be added into the mods but some issues had arise from it.  Waiting for what I can do to help here in the meantime try using whatever is in there.  I am currently trying to work on an expansion but having some issues with the battles to work the way I want them.  Also windows still needs resized in some areas still.  No current ETA as I will be going through are windows to make sure they are sized right.  Some are quite long and need a good free time to sit through the big majority.

The only issue I see with donations which could be highly unlikely is possibly some modders taking issue with getting money from what they make even though that is not what this is about.  Again highly doubt they maybe something to think about possibly.

That is the thing with scene to kernel you need to make sure the scene is synced to the right one.  So for compatibility modders need to synce to other possible kernel bins and set up and option to allow for that certain one.  Of course the user can do this manually.  This is one of the things I plan to cover in my modding guide tutorial series on youtube.

You may have to reinstall the game.  Also if you use the normal converter sometimes you have to re-run it.

I guess people don't understand how Sith train their apprentices.  He learns the bare bones basic to fulfill the main guys agenda at the time.  This is evident by him only showing a few force abilities.  As for flashy combat I totally disagree the prequels where far more flashy and put it to shame.  Plus the most ludicrous insult I ever saw in this thread is the beef with the woman being all super bull crap.  Did you guys see the same movie I did?  She was salvaging parts ever since she has been on that rock and your telling me in all the years alone she didn't learn anything about what she was digging up or taking apart?  Also Obi Wan didn't teach Luke much of anything and he used the force to bring the lightsaber to him to cut himself down on Hoth.  There have been several instances of the force acting through people.  Finally did you guys forget this was a Disney film?  None of this is new they have female protagonist and different racial backgrounds in a bunch of movies.  I except that not everyone will like this movie and it got its share of problems but at least do your homework and give better criticism over stuff that hasn't been explained through the countless source books out there.

Are you using it on admin?  That is the number one cause of access issues.
