Hi everybody. I'd like to ask about a problem that I'm having these times around on my ff7 installation for the first time. When some movie plays along with some character that is movable (like cloud At Junon Elevator) the scene get messy and exits change it's plane or chars get moving or get stucked on the scene... i'm using hires, YAMP and all regular mods / fixes. Thnks in advance  :wink:

I'm sorry .. can I ask how to use Aeris after changed the flevel.lgp ? I have to use Jenova right ?

So you just fixed the scenes that was making the game crash using Aeris with Jenova patcher ... am I right ?

good work, i just was having the same idea days ago and now that i come here to ask "how to do..." ... well you already got that :D

just wandering, couldn't you replace the intro movie (taken from the tech demo) and other movies from AC (the sister ray charging and shooting at midgar for example) ??

I suggest Truemotion codec and ffdshow disabling on truemotion codified videos and it should be allright ;) let us know

if you're using the Sadness translation patch (english => ita) there's a problem with snowboard-us.lgp. Replace that with the original one from the cds. This is probably due to a collison with sadness patch and NPC ;)

the goal of this project is to improve the models right ??  That's for sure that we try to make the model the more "similar" to the original ones... but these days as soon as a new model is made there is at least one person to tell us that it's not enough like the original one... if you don't want to change the game at all... just don't bother to install this patch...

and we expressed our thoughts about that, so I think there isn't anything wrong about commenting it. I personally prefer bottle number 1 and I dislike the original model but the idea in making different Patch versions could be fine, just bringing new Ideas...

I think that you're making a GREAT work and you should ignore "stupid" PM and emails talking about "funny" modding on the game and on the models... keep it up like always, you all are doing great but we are here to express all the thing of feedback, that may be a good one or a bad one.

;) (sorry for the English but today I'm not feeling and Englishman :p)

EDIT: If I remember right this characer shows up only behind a counter at Chocobo races or Battle arena so the question is whether the discussion about legs is relevant at all.  :lol:

ahaha, I suppose you're Right MF :D if their legs aren't shown so we should have 2 LONG legs to make her see better behind the table :D

As a matter of fact I may agree that the bottle doesn't need changing at all even though the no. 1 is really nice. Sometimes it is really better not to put out the fire if it doesn't burn you.

My suggestion is you could give an option in installer which models are to be replaced and which not, with selectable groups like NPC, PC, Chocobos, World map, minigames, items,.. for example.
Something like in installer of Collective Thief: DS Texture Pack By John P. to get a better picture what I'm talking about.

This way you could prevent any disappointments among people with different tastes.

you got to use YAMP minigame/swhirl effect hack, use the 1.02 patch and check if your version of FF7 is not a repacked one found online

Well I'm still convinced that Aeris Should be die and so she should rest in the game story. An avent with the "Aeris Ghost" coming in your party could be added so that her Character will stay in the party and the players will enjoy and get usefull all the experience and all the fights done with her before she dies. The edit on flevel could be done only in some file using LGP tools, isn't it ?

I get a crash at Icicle Inn.... and i can read this error in FF7MUSIC log....

the crash is when I go at the Snowboard minigame for the first time at Icicle Inn.... just before the game starts i see no messages, just a crash. I'm using all the mods / patches here but I also use the Italian translation patch by Sadness team.

Probabliy there's an error on some translated file... the log says that there's an error on "ea_k.TEX" file... where is located this file ? In some .lgp ?? Could someone upload a working version of it?
