Is there an approximate ETA for this new Catalog?

This is a known bug in the latest version (1.56) of 7H. You need to make sure you delete all those extra lines, otherwise, after some point, your game won't even be able to launch.

I am pretty sure Satsuki's had the exact same problem back in 2017 when I first tried them. Maybe there is an updated version I am not aware about, but I shall take your word for it.

I think other Field Model mods had this problem, but at the Northern Crater where you have to pass through the windy gaps, the "barrier" that keeps crossing the screen so you can time it right and pass through is glitchy, making it basically impossible to proceed unless you turn the mod off. At least in my experience. Has anyone else had that problem?

I have tested with a save editor, and it seems like the game is expecting you to have the default names, and this happens when the name is longer. I have seen, however, people play without any dialog boxes. Is there a mod that removes them and I've missed it?

I may be experiencing a 7H bug as shown in the image here. This happens on certain dialogues here and there. The option to have transparent dialog boxes is ticked, but it doesn't seem to work for some reason. I am on 7H v1.54, and I'm using bc.exe with The Reunion and Menu Overahaul enabled.

Just a heads-up. I tried checking the videos that showcase the differences from the original translation with Beacause, but the links don't seem to work. Also, is it safe to assume that all new versions of this mod will not make it as .iro files for 7th Heaven usage?

I am not sure if it's because of the latest Win 10 Update, but I don't remember having changed anything on my computer since last August (2017) when I was running the game perfectly.

I am not getting any error messages or anything but when I tried to launch the game today, it didn't even go to the Eidos logo. I barely got the initial black screen, then it simply crashed without any messages and brought me back to 7th Heaven's "Active Mods" list.

Any ideas as to why is this happening?

Oh. That sounds something that is way out of my league. Well I hope someone does it in the future.

I'll try to explain:
Let's say I have 3 versions of the same song (e.g. the battle theme).

Is there a way to force the game to choose between those 3 versions randomly or in order every time I go into battle?

You don't have to bug report the 7H version right now. The catalog uses an older version because I am holding off on updating until R06 is released. After that, we can start bug reporting.

Apparently it was an overlooked error. Here's hoping to v6 soon so that you can update it in the catalog!

I hope this is the place to report this. I have found a possible error in the Mideel section of the game, where you find Cloud after he got Mako-poisoned. Yuffie says: "Hey, Doc, is Cloud going to okay?" Shouldn't it be: " Cloud going to be okay?"

Now, I know that this might have been corrected in the latest version, but, in the 7th Catalog, that's the version we have. Since this is the main Reunion thread, I thought it'd be best to post it here.

It's alright, I found it. You actually need to unpack the iro file through 7th Heaven, find your kernel files through that, then repack it, otherwise you're simply editing the vanilla kernel. Thanks though!

Sorry for the necro, but I've been trying to create a good loop for Safer Sephiroth's battle theme (One-Winged Angel), but the tutorial is a bit unclear in some specific parts. Also, the images provided are way too small. Could someone in here help me do it? Thanks in advance!

So, after seeing this mod which replaces the button prompts for the Steam version and after contacting its author and realizing it cannot work with The Reunion (at least the version that is present in the catalog) unless someone actually goes and changes the in-game text, I'd like to request the following 5 things:

1) Put XBox 360 Controller Fix by Thunderpeel2001 (the one I linked above) in the catalog. I am sure lots of people would appreciate it.

2) Have an option for The Reunion + XBox 360 Controller Fix. Not sure if that's too hard to do.

3) Have an option for The Reunion + Hardcore + XBox 360 Controller Fix, or simply include the XBox 360 Controller Fix in The Reunion, because, at least in v3, it's not there, even though DLBP had expressed interest in it, from what I vaguely remember reading in a post.

4) Fix the compatibilty issues that cause crashes when "Hardcore + The Reunion" is enabled. I already posted 2-3 instances of when that happens, and Gjoerulv explains it better in his thread's OP, here:

5) Again from Gjoerulv's OP, it looks like there's an important patch that makes Level 4 limit breaks to ignore defenses and that's not present in the catalog. Now, maybe I am mistaken, but I am not sure if it will cause any problems to apply the patch on \ff7_bc.exe, because the only workaround to the crashes I mentioned in no.4 is to temporarily change the option to just "Hardcore" and then change it back. If there are no problems, I can edit this post and delete no.5.

I'd say no.4 is the most important thing I am requesting.

If I can help with any of those with what little skills I have, I'll be happy to do it. :)

Oh yeah. I mistakenly thought that you actually had to unpack just this mod. My bad. I know it's too much work (and it took me quite a bit of time to figure out which cutscenes are which), so it's alright if you don't wanna do it, it's all good. After all, I went all "old school" and managed to figure it out on my own, so since I'm the only person that showed interest in this, there's no real reason for you to do it now and spend all that time on it. I will make a post in the mod requests, though, for what I'd like to see in the catalog, in general.

Well, my movies path is in \data\movies (the .log file you told me to look at, says so). Now, the advantage of me doing that unpacking was that I could choose individual videos and replace them with ones I liked more, found here in the forums, for various scenes (such as the intro). How would one be able to do that without unpacking? Of course I am not saying I did it right. Yes that was very old school. I know this because I've modded Skyrim to death and mod managers simply keep things nice and clean. But I was just wondering if you could pick and replace only certain cutscenes by doing it via 7th Heaven.

Ah, thanks for the replies! So, can you stack up 4 Hero Drinks with 2 Dragon Forces on the same character? I had no idea that you can go past 255!

Hey, everyone. Since I haven't found a topic that covers all of that stuff at once, I'd like to ask a few questions regarding the inner mechanics of FFVII.

I am aware that each stat goes up to 255. So, that brings me to my questions:

1) How does Haste work, exactly? I am aware it makes your ATB bar fill twice as fast. Does this mean that it raises your Dexterity by 100%? If so, does that mean that if a character has 255 Dexterity, casting Haste is practically useless on them?

2) What are the mechanics of Dragon Force? I know it raises both your defenses by 50%, but does it cap at two times used (100%) or can you keep using it till your character's defenses reach 255? For example, if a character has a Vitality stat of 128, they'd need 2 uses to reach 255, but if they have anything below that, they'd need 3 and above. But can I actually use 3 on one character, or is the cap at 100% because the cap is placed on the skill itself and not on a character's stats?

I hope this is the right place to ask such questions. Thanks for any upcoming replies!
