FF7 Tools / Kimera: FF7 p model simple editor

No, Im using XP SP2
It seemed that this problem occurred randomly. I had been working with one's model normally using Kimera 084b until it said smt like "error saving" when I saved the model, then I couldnt open the model anymore. I've tried several versions of Kimera and here is the results
- v7: said "error loading animation files"
- v8beta: was able to open the model with animation but without texture
-v81b~>v84b: "error 53" or "error loading file"
However, this model was still shown correctly in Biturn

*edit: one more thing, I've known that creating polygons in P Editor causes FF7 to crash but what about deleting polygons or moving vertex? I've just tried putting Disisidia Cloud in FF7 but it crashed immediately. I dont have much time spending on re-do all the work so I cant check whether it was caused by editing in P Editor or not

It's strange
I cant open any .hrc file or **aa file by any version of 081b~>084b . It kept saying "Error while loading file" or "Error 53". Could some one help me fix this?

It's been a while but I still cant find a solution for this problem. I dont want to revive old topic but it's still be unsolved, could anyone help me?
I DID a full installation, used patch 1.02, had FMV copied to HDD and no other else

As I know, the 3k hasnt been able to use Custom firmware (being hacked in other speech) so you cant play psx games on it

Actually, Zack changed his hair style after Angeal's death so I think the other is more appropriate to the storyline shown in FF7
Btw, I feel that Tifa's face from CC is somehow even older than her age of 21 in FF7. In this case, I still prefer her head from KH (and also Aerith's, maybe asians like me like cute ones more ^^). Still, the other models (Cloud, Seph ...) in CC are perfectly fit with FF7

ps: models in CC are still under copyright so arent it allowed releasing publicly?

Jpcsp cant play CC at the moment and it would be a long time to be able to emulate CC perfectly on pc so you should take a psp instead

- I cant view files from 02012 to 02160, every time I choose the files, the viewer crashes immediately

Try using CamStudio, it's a good choice

This is likely an "underground" project so you guys shouldnt expect it to be released publicly

It's a fighting game mixed up with some RPG but moving your character on a world like a chess set doesnt mean to be tactics at all :)
Btw, you can look up for a script translation on gamefaqs, you can understand how the storyline is. In fact, I gotta admit that this game is better than I expected.

Finally, isn't it allowed to release these stuffs made from KH models to public?

I dont really get what your problem is.

Anyway, you CAN run the homebrew on PSP slim using Time Machine instead of looking for a FAT one. I think your psp has custom firmware installed so what you need is a Pandora battery which is easily created from a standard battery by homebrew.

Finally, as far as I know, there is no other way to decode the at3 to wav in Windows or any environments. It can be done only on PSP. In short, psp system has to decode the at3 first to play it and Z33's homebrew simply takes this moment to decode it to wav (of course, it's not as "simple" to complete such great work at all :D)

First of all, thank you so much for the great work :D
And, I think I know how to get the audio within a pmf file. You need MPlayer to extract the at3 from pmf file and use a homebrew called 'at3decode test' written by Z33 to decode it to wav.

In Max, there is a "scale option" when you import the .3dr so you will get exactly the same model as the original one without being scaled if you choose this option.

Cloud's memory was mixed with Zack's. That explains all of your questions. In fact, Cloud had never been an oficial SOLDIER but an infantry man. I think you havent taken FFVII and CC carefully. The ending of CC shows that Zack gave Cloud the Buster sword as his dream and honour.

If any of you like it, I'll say slayersnext to help me re-texture (sorry for a simple model, my time is tight, I did it in just ~20min, even the texture was taken from a picture showing the combination of Cloud's sword ^^!)

i personally think these are great.

Does it matter if I comment his work and vice-versa? As you said, that was personal thought. Evenmore, I and him have been friends for quite a long time so why shouldnt I say what I really think? We can learn some lesson from failure to get better and better, right ? Still, you can see that I DID admire his way of texturing (the previous posts) but not this time because of the reasons I said.

Btw, I'm sorry to dissapoint you that I dont have much time spending on modeling, especially this and next year. I even havent completed modeling Vincent for slayersnext as I promised but I can show you my very old practice I did. It was just a simply untextured low-poly model I did for training so plz dont blame me :)

Honestly, I dont think that you have done a good work. The material of those swords are supposed to be metal but you textured them more "marble" and "woody". Also, buster sword is not as rusty if you compare it to the one shown in FF7 tech-demo. Even if it was, the texture wouldnt be as weird like yours. The only good one I think is Ladron

The more powerful your rig is, the faster speed you get. Still pcsx2 is a WIP so its speed is not stable. You can get 400fps in menu, 90 in 2D background frame or even 20 in others but if the speed is so high, you can use Limit mode like common emulators. I recommend a C2D/C2Q@3GHz (or higher) and a mid-range vga like 8600GT if you wanna an enjoyable speed and pretty good image quality (1280*720 with texture filtering)
