Can't get movies to play
« on: 2019-11-24 11:05:53 »
I installed 7th heaven, and after getting it up and running, the movies played.  But I had an issue, and had to overwrite with game converter.  Now the game converter won't find the movies path file.  I can't figure out why.  Am I suppose to copy the movies off the disc and put them into the folder that GC created?  Just not sure, and I don't won't to ruin anything.  The game works mostly fine now, save for the movies.

This is where Game Converter created the movies folder.  C:\FF7\data\movies

You installed from the original CDs to C:\FF7?

Your log file isn't complete. There should be more after the FF7Config. Did you not copy all of the FF7_GC.log?

Legacy - You're supposed to install the game first, then run the 7H game converter.  As EQ2 said, though, this log file is incomplete.  There's also an out-of-order execution bug I found a while back where the ..\data\movies directory doesn't get created until *after* you tell it where the movies folder is, not before like the script implies.  You can get through this by installing the game, then manually creating the folder before running the converter.
