dx9 is expérimental, ogl il only for very old gpu witch don't work with other rendered (with my 3070ti opengl was working until i upgraded the nv driver so it's more gpu driver related than ffnx related to my mind) there's no benefits to use ogl if your gpu is fine with dx11 ^^

Hello! Unfortunately, on the "AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.00 GHz, RAM 6 gb, Geforce 9600 GT 512 mb" system, the mod cannot be launched, the screen is dark at startup. Most likely this is due to my video card Geforce 9600 GT 512 mb with 9 directx.

Because the lighting engine built into FFNx is far superior.

Congratulations for this long-term work.

I saw the following addition:
-Added Steam achievements.

Could you give more precision? I thought it was impossible with the way to launch this mod.

Is there a risk that an achievement will be bugged with this mod for example?
Or if one pass, all should pass?

if you use my pack only (no gameplay mod) the steam's achivement are safe to use, it's managed by the FFNx driver ^^

Hi, I want to upgrade from 5.42 to 5.60 I was wondering where the SYW saves are to back em up.

Another question, how can we remap the keyboard buttons?

The default configuration is very uncomfortable for me, which has a certain finger missing!

in the steams's ff7 folder ("save" subfolder) for exemple for me it's "C:\Jeux\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\save"

launch ff7, go in options, change the controls then save game (realy important or the controls changes won't be saved)

I could put an image but idk how...

I was in Junon Branch, everything ok until the cutscene after Tifa jumps off the cannon... It freezes and a message appears "Unhandled Exception": "Feel free to visit this link for further next steps: https://github.com/julianxhokaxhiu/FFNx/wiki/FAQ".

I tried it with different engine and mod options and always crashes :(

try without the 60 fps fmv please and let me know (it can appen on 30 fps fmv too, it'll be solved in next update with FFNx updated)

Hi,

Thank you for this mod, i have 2 problems,

1st : When i launch the programm i have all the time this message :



2st : The run function doesn't work for me :/


It's the Steam Version.

@All, field's iro updated (you need lastest 7th canary and lastest FFNx canary), it's faster OOB than previous version, and you can choose different level for fields animation depending on your computer's power

option 1 : try yourself and you'll see ^^
option 2 : SYW is simply better in all ways (more consistant, bug free (ATM no reported), have fields animations...)

Why don't you use the french pack version ? it's way more complete an have a good translation too.

Hey Satsuki, after restarting my pc the issue got fixed. By the way, I was using 30 fps fmv both times.

Keep up the good work, this mod is really great!

5.61 update available
-Updated FFNx (lots of optimisation for 60 fps, HDR FMV corrected).
-Updated Cosmo Memory (added worldmap footsteps).
-Updated 60 fps fields animation for modern 3D model.
-Added some flevel script correction for 60 fps mode.
-Corrected the alway run option for the french exe.
