while messing around with some of the trainers and such i came across the letters to the wife and daughter in kalm... i've heard of these before and i'm pretty sure you all have...but has anyone found out where to find these in the game or even if you can use them?

You're SUPPOSED to get them in gongaga, but the character who gives them to you was deleted.  the "Wife and daughter" both live in kalm, but having the letters doesn't change any dialouge.   However, the lines form the dude in gongaga are still present in the games files.

The sub-quest was abandoned either due to time constraints, or they just didn't feel like it.

People think this is part of an abandoned "Aeris resuretion sidequest", but i dont see how a random dude from gongaga could help bring her back.

lol well you could do like some of the rumors i've seen on ff7 and make somthing up...let's see......you can recycle the paper and then make a mini aries doll and bring it to the guy and then give it to the daughter and she will be so happy that aries will come back in a bright blur of light!.....*cough* yeah i made that up.... haha

thanks for the info I was just wondering what they were  :D

well that's how it is - when developer's intentions have a brutal clash with development deadline :[ i wish they released a script patch or something after the game went out, so they would fix some weird things [like aeris' ghost script bug e.g. - i personally feed it should be left however], or fix some dialogues, as i don't get some of them [the one between cloud and aeris before entering honey bee inn really sucks - it's so stiff and artificial]
