None of the color cycling animations work with the .png textures.
It's a limitation of the OpenGL driver.

FF7input.cfg isn't created by default.
It's normal for this file to be missing.
This file is created when you alter the keyboard configuration via the in-game menu.

I still receive errors when trying to UPDATE archives even with the 0.8 version of ULGP.
ULGP won't update certain files and crashes with others.

I have better luck by creating an entirely new .lgp archive.
  Extract all of the files from the .lgp archive into a temporary folder.
  Copy the new files over the old files in the temporary folder.
  Use ULGP to compile the files from the temporary folder into a new .lgp archive.

Yes, it's because the Romeo 14 materia is checked.
Menu Overhaul installs different materia textures.
The textures should be the same in both modes.   It's a bug in Bootleg.

It's most likely your Intel graphics card that is causing the problem.
I don't know the specific reason Intel cards don't work with a heavily modded FF7, but it's most likely memory related.
The Intel driver doesn't allow you to manually change the ram allotment.
The driver expects the game to set the amount of required video ram.
I haven't had much luck making a fully modded game run on Intel cards.
You might try disabling all PNG scene textures.  Use the LGP versions instead.

This patch doesn't completely bypass the DRM.  You lose many of the new features: cloud saves, achievements, cheats and various tweaks.

It's not likely that FF7Music is causing the problem.
What video card are you using?
Post your app.log.
Intel video cards have trouble running a fully modded FF7.
You could try running the game in a window and disabling vsync.

Simply re-running Bootleg without the AC Yuffie option ticked will NOT remove the broken Yuffie model.
You should start with a fresh installation of FF7.
At the very least, replace .\data\battle.lgp with the original version from the CD-ROM before running Bootleg again.

The broken HD Aeris model is the result of a bug in the ULGP tool.
It only affects some systems.  If the tool isn't updated before the next scheduled Bootleg release, I'll implement a workaround.
Unfortunately the fix adds another 10 minutes to the install time.

What folder are you using for the mods?
From what folder are you running BFE.EXE and BOOTLEG.EXE?
What is the TEMP folder?
Don't use any system folders.  Don't run anything from desktop or documents.

There's a memory with the modified game.
Avoid pausing during battles.

The Intel card is not capable of properly running the game with all the mods enabled.

Make sure the game is using your Geforce video card.
Run FF7Config.exe as administrator and select the Geforce card.

You could accomplish the same thing with Aali's OpenGL driver.
Just replace the assist hand graphic with a blank image.
All you'd need to do is modify a .png file and place it in the mods folder.

The French, Spanish, German and Italian translations are available for most of the game files.
A touphscript compatible FF7.EXE translation is missing for French and Italian.

Mods like Hardcore, Aeris Revival and Menu Overhaul ReTranslation are in English.
These mods are not translated.
The text contained in FF7.EXE is English only.
I do not have access to the translated text for FF7.EXE.
I will greatly appreciate anyone who can provide the translated text for FF7.EXE in touphscript format.

The black screen often occurs when there is a problem playing videos.
Is the movie folder correctly set in Bootloader?

Does anyone know if the new videos are compatible with the old ff7.exe?

Are you using a non-English version of Windows?
I think it may be a problem with Bootloader finding CD-Rom drives.
I've changed the way Bootloader populates the data drive list.  Hopefully this error is fixed.

Those log file errors are normal.  This happens when installing Menu Overhaul to a non-English game.

As of Bootleg 0039, Grimmy's AC Cloud is not compatible with all of Slayersnext's weapons.
Slayersnext's Buster sword is not compatible with Grimmy's AC Cloud.
Bootleg installs Millenia's Buster sword instead.

Bootleg 040 will allow you to configure each of Cloud's weapons individually.
All combinations of weapon work with all Cloud models.

Anxious Heart allows for more granular control over the soundtrack.
You can customize each track from a wider selection of songs.

The upcoming of Bootleg 040 does have an option to retain the new FMV's.  The new to old conversion is also included.
Removing the CD check altogether is against Qhimm policy.  However, there is a workaround.
Name a harddrive or usb drive FF7DISC1 and change the registry to point to that drive.

JowHoof,
The OpenGL driver isn't correctly installed.  Make sure all antivirus software is disabled before running Bootleg.
I'm not certain if it's just a coincidence, but many people with Radeon 4XXX cards are experiencing problems.

Is anyone with a Radeon 4XXX card able to run the game without a problem?
