Can someone please show me the way ??

A sample can be this:
Hojo "Haw...now let's see
how the Mako Juice is reacting?"

this text is in a battle against Hojo.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it be stashed away somewhere in battle.lgp? I haven't done much exploring into the lgp files yet, so I don't know where much is. I wish I could intimately know this game's file structure, just like the way I did with DooM (when I still used to make mods for that game). *briefly reminisces* :weep:

Actualy that's what i tought but there are too many files to search in... and btw... are they compressed or not ?? because i've tryed searching in it with WinHex since the files in LGP are stored without compression, but no luck...

Any clue?

I don't think that you will have any success in the battle.lgp. AFAIK, and I have scanned the file, there are only battle models, but nothing else...
Try another lgp...

Ok... i searched with WinHex in the ram while i was fighting against an X-Cannon and i found the text... but i had no clues on where the text is stored...

Since Mirex done a program to see monsters models (Leviathan) i was wondering if he can tell me in what files the models for Hojo, X-Cannon and Grosspanzer are stored

These model are stored in the battle.lgp. However, you'll need to be a tech-skilled guy to get those damn models...

yep, i know... but i don't need tech-skilled people to get 3/4 lines of text out of a file... the only thing i need to know is in wich files of the battle.lgp the Hojo's and X-Cannon's models are and if they r compressed... that's the only thing i need...

IMHO i dont think that those texts are in battle.lgp where models are stored. I would guess some script files or something, try searching some DAT files, maybe main ff7.exe.

Btw im working on document, in which step by step will be docummented how to extract things from ff7 (and other games too)
