Can't get SFX when I play on 7th Heaven mod manager.

<< < (2/2)

Jorelh:
Hello there,
Over the past few days I’ve been setting up a new modded playthrough of Final Fantasy VII. I completed my first installation yesterday with the mods I wanted to try out, but I’ve run into a problem: I have no SFX at all — no menu sounds, no battle sounds, and no world map sounds. Musics, however, are ok.

I spent quite a while searching last night and again this morning, but most of the threads I found are related to older versions of 7th Heaven. I also tried changing various configuration options and edited the FFNx.toml.tmp file (I couldn’t find a version without the .tmp extension).

I’m currently using the latest versions:

7th Heaven 4.4

FFNx 1.23

I’ve attached my active mod list below.

I’m assuming I must have missed something in the 7th Heaven configuration, but I haven’t been able to figure out what. If anyone has some insight or suggestions, I’d be really grateful.

Thanks in advance!

Mods list:

* SYW Unified FMV
* SYW Unified Battle Textures
* SYW Unified Field Textures
* SYW Unified Minigames Testures

Jorelh:
I don't know if i'll get an answer but I add that when I select "play without mods option" the SFX are played normally. I think I d'ont have anything which affect the SFX but Cosmo Memory but when I turn it off or when I unistall it, It doesn't work.

Jorelh:
Well, I have downloaded Echo-S but without enabling it and it does the trick because I have now SFX.

Bonez:
you could reset game driver settings to default to fix this.
