Well if you mod solely based on expecting something in return, you're gonna be disappointed, I mod because its fun to make the changes you want, sharing it with the community so that others who like it will also see such benefits.

EDIT: Also working on version 3 of this font, which looks so much better

I like your improvements!  :D, when you have time can you share all the files with this updated texture like yesterday?

Yes I will post them tomorrow, just been messing with one set of textures for now until its perfect, otherwise I have to keep redoing them each time

Yeah I saw it a few days ago, even in its Dissidia style it still looks fantastic they really nailed her animations, makes me want an ff8 remake so badly

EN version works great, just a reminder you have to delete MyFolder1 in the settings if you want it to work correctly

Yeah it doesn't work for EN, I downloaded cheat engine and scanned for 512 bytes, if this is wrong please guide me

Thats cool Maki, the beginning ones look like unused death animations, (reminds me of the comm tower boss), the one at 2:20 could have been used for the 1st BGH251F2 fight as it blows up but they decided to take it out, the one at 3:20 reminds me of Ultimecia junctioning herself onto Griever, 4:55 could have been another of Zells limit breaks finishers.  5:13 seems like Gilgamesh as he enters the battle. 5:24 and 5:39 could be unused moves for X-ATM092. Overall really interesting finds.

Well the cutscene before shows the Garden to the left of the weapon shop steering leftish, you could assume it went clockwise around the town (I remember them saying no casualties) the first water area would be to the left of the harbor, or it could have went in a circle and ended up south east area of the train tracks. Hard to tell, I wonder if the devs just made up whatever they wanted. If I had to choose between your two choices I would choose cat walks since the road extensions are not there in the field file.

For the pier is that made up or are you talking about the rows of boats from the cutscene of balamb garden going out of control and ending up in the water. Regarding the opera building at the end of the harbor, are you sure that's not a boat where the gap is and beyond that there's another Island with the opera building on it. If you want to put the area with all the small boats down I'd put it to the right side of the harbor area. Anyway good job so far.

Right I exported/imported the original low res textures to get the tile format texture then upscaled them. Cause if I export then upscale them, they look fine, but when I import using Pupu it causes banding and looks completely different from the textures I had before. Only upside if there is no tile seams. I just want to know why this happens and if it can be fixed.

Pupu seems to limit the files to 8 bit when importing them into the readable game files, which makes no sense since we are using external textures, there should be no limit. If I export, import then upscale them there is no banding, but they appear black in game. If I export, upscale each file individually they look fine, but the moment I import them you get really bad banding and it just ruins the whole picture.

EDIT: Managed to fix the banding by importing the original and upscaling it using 8 bit mode, though the tile lines show up and I dont know how to get rid of them.

Yes there are bugs/missing areas because Omzy used an automation tool to do all the fields and it didn't do everything 100%. It would be a waste of time to fix it up now since waifu upscale is superior and you would be better off using/making a new version.
