hmmm. Can you give it to me???? I'll try to learn how to texture and then texture it. Maybe use it to understand how modeling works too so that i can make more myself. Say if u can Timu :) :) Did u make that with blender also???

It was made with Blender, it would be awesome for this model to be textured and released, it looks very good  :-o

I'm currently learning a bit about texturing, so if you need any help just gimme a shout and I'll give it a go.

However, If I'm terrible then you can tell me where to stick it! :)

i'm not quite sure.. I would prefer it to be more DoC like. My major question about this is...can we create the models with their skeletons from scratch so that we can add whatever we like to the model or not?? I mean add more hair and change the waist, the left hand, the legs, the boots etc etc. As far as i remember if it isn't according to the original skeleton it can't be done. But what if we create our own skeleton??

its technically possible.... you dont want to do it though. As to my model... this one was actually made in maya. It'll be a few days (a week or so) before i get access to it, its stashed on my workstation, which is in storage during renovations.

I'd try n stick with the original style for texturing my mesh, as thats what it was modeled on, and to mix the DoC texturing with the ff7 style would... look odd :P. That and I really don't like dirge of cerberus - The whole "lets add spikes to everyone for teh lulz" didnt work for me.

heheh...no i didn't like that either on DoC. I mean if i could change the cloak a little bit. Make it rotten style  :evil:muahahahhahah  . maye add the weapon holder on his leg. His hair just a tiny little bit. Add something to his waist so it doesn't look so odd.. or maybe low it down a little. Vince  nt's pants remind me of those that my grandpa used to wear...from belly to toes :P . His golden gloves and boots and that's all. Are they a lot?? Regardless. When you gain access to it Timy send it to me. It will help me out a lot. Blender can read it too right??If i'll texture it i think i'll texture it there. Maybe use some photoshop too.

If you wanna jump to uv/texturing, i do have a 4-5k poly vincent model floating around... never got past the model :P

back when i had time to do stuff...

Is there any way for this model to be obtained? I realize that it has no texture, so in game it would be white vertex colored, but it is an awesome model none-the-less

Do as you wish, as it's you who does this. DoC can be ripped, but if you do so, you won't be able to put it here. You will have to model it from scratch.

I really want to help ya but i can't. I'm not a programmer, so hope you can finish this ASAP with other help ;D

You talk about this Vincent?

I remember .pk3 can be open with 7zip. and .glm can be open with milkshape
But i really like this Vincent more http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=67108

If I may ask, what vincent is this? It looks nice.. Is it a custom mod?

The first of those two pics is a custom model from Jedi Academy but converted to FF7, not sure if it's publicly available or not.

The second pic shows someones work in progress model that as far as I know was never finished as the thread for it died in 2009.

I've been super busy with my exams for Uni this year. During summer i'm going to start re-doing this project. I have gained some new skills through this year for animation so i'm going to create something much better than my first attempts to it. So be patient. No need to keep re-posting.
