Screen Transition Glitch

I've noticed that after the cutscene in Forgotten City where the party rests in the beds that the screen transitions become glitched.  They don't fade in and out properly.  On the PC version the transitions become very quick.

I haven't been able to find anything about this or specifically why it happens.  I doubt I'm the first to notice it though.  I'm wondering if anybody has tried to create a mod that causes this intentionally since it would make screen transitions much quicker.
