I figured it out finally. I needed ff7_opengl-0.8.1b.

I wish that was mentioned in the 7th Heaven tutorial.

Ok, So i have been going crazy for the last 2 days trying to make this work and i have had no luck.

I install the game, configure ff7 config and run the game to make sure it's ok.
Install the converter
Run 7th heaven and the game works until the resolution gets messed with by one of the mods. I've tried installing one at a time to figure out which mod kills the game but it varies. I can't find an app log in the folder either for you. the only log i have is blank.

The game seems to run just fine when it is in a window. It crashes when it goes to full screen modes. When it does that changes from one attempt to another. the squaresoft screen is black, then i get new game or continue menu. select one or the other than the game crashes.

I started with 7th heaven 1.55 but then switched to 1.52.

i know you wanted the log but like i said i can't find one for you.

game is installed in a ff7 folder direct on my C drive.

I am running windows 7 x64.

Anyone have anything else i can try? I would really appreciate it.
