heh... Let's see him go up against this:

As so, it begins. :wicked:

So... How do you turn on the controls? The help file says to type "Show Controls", but it doesn't say WHERE to type it. And I'm typing it all over the place, but I'm not getting anything. How about adding a single button that will turn them on? Cause I can't get them to come on.

You need to delete all the stuff in the info box, and type it in there, then hit enter.

Oh, and btw.

Also, if you notice above, Rufus and the Turks now have Eyes.   :wicked:

Hmm... "Show Controls" in the dialog box, hit enter... Doesn't work.

Oh! It's "show controls"! It works now! Question: Is there a way to change the position of a part of the model in Leviathan?

SI: I'll post something for you later. :wicked:

Change the position of a part of the model?  Uh, only by moving the skeleton around at the moment.  If something similar to the Field Sprite's HRC files is decoded, then you should be able to fiddle with the actual skeleton....but I don't think that's possible at the moment.

In theory, you *could* try importing the .p files for the model you want to use into a seperate LGP, write up a HRC for it, and fiddle with it in Ifalna...except battle scale models won't fit in Ifalna's zoom range.  And Scaling down battle files using Ultima is more effort than it's worth, at the moment, really.  :\  I guess I'll just have to wait, and continue sacrificing fatted Porn Spam to the FF7 hax0r gods...   :weep:

pick one of the bones (number) in the Tree control, and then move those three sliders below. Is that what you meant ?

Only in whatever FMVs I can squeeze into the game. I'm fighting for them, at the very least, as an optional thing. But the overall idea is that we keep the size of the download low, so we might get 1 or 2 in, and the rest would be an optional download.

It would be difficult for the remake to handle those kind of flames, unless we spent a lot of time working on getting them to look that way. That would take a bit, but wouldn't be imposible.

Oh, Shinra Inc:

Hey, maybe you oughtta use that as your avatar, Seph3d.  Obviously you'd need to make it smaller, but I'm getting a transparency effect around your rendering of Sephiroth in Internet Explorer.

I would but there are 4 problems with it:

1) It also advertises Shinra Inc, which I don't want to do.
2) It's too big for Qhimm's requested size avatars. (Being 140x140, the exact same size as Shinra Inc's avatar. *HINT HINT*)
3) The transparancy I applied to it is the GIF transparency, and I don't like the GIF transparancy, which is why I use PNG files.
4) It's 160 freaken kb big! Too big for my tastes.

I think that at least that dragon will look better in remake, because he is flat now, and he'll be smooth shaded then.

ShinRa: I think that mine avatar is ok. And I can't se that last picture of yours (Sephiroth and the Fat Man).

correction, i can see it. owgh, bloody. and maybe i HAVE little problems with my host.

ShinRa: could you tell me what were you doing, when leviathan created that big file ? And one more think, did you see more than one '+' next to some monster ?

Nope...No more than one +  I'm not sure when exactly it bloated up, or at what rate.  I didn't really think to check it, and found out how big it'd gotten looking for something else....

Hmn.  http://members.aol.com/falrika/0wnage.swf  Uprated into Flash format.  @_@  First time I fiddled with flash, too, so it might not be of the quality you'd expect...

Maybe it is because you are messing with skeleton info. New version should make it. My host is (again) down, so here is link Leviathan v0.22.
It never happened to me, whatever i tried, i could not get size beyond 10kb.

Skeleton Info?  Aside from Hex Editing, I wasn't aware of a way to edit the actual skeletons yet.  I've been making do with the existing ones.  Tseng is modeled on the first Reno's skeleton.

I'd send you the file to examine directly, since I haven't gotten into Hex-editing or whatnot yet, but I don't know if you'd want a file that big.

Delete the old [usermove.dat] file (if you want to) and try it with version 0.22. If it happens again, then hmm ... no idea.

You can send me files max 1,5 mb, maybe 2mb. But not much often. If you were thinking about sending me battle.lgp, then no way. I have 10mb limit :)

I tried using the new version to save a new pose to that file, andf it bloated up to over a gig. I trashed the file and I'm starting from scratch...1 gig was ridiculous. :\

Also....

Not quite as much a challenge as Tseng, but then again, I'm still working on rearranging the hair.... ::twitch::

...And now it's not saving poses at all, anymore.

Alright....  I tried fiddling with the poses again, and I got it to save a pose.  I worked on it some more, and when I tried to save it once again, it erased the previous save, and the 8kb file suddenly bloated to....

*drumroll*

279,994kb!

[applause] Great score.
Ok now, i made new version, that should have none of those problems. Filesize should be 800kb forever. I'll try to upload it in the evening.

Wait a minute.  It was originally 8kb, not 800!  You misplaced the decimal point just a littlebit. :P

I think he means that the Usermove.dat will always be 800kb; regardless of how many poses you've stored.  As in, instead of creating poses from scratch, it'll now be modifying the "default" poses stored in each slot.

...Then again, I could be wrong.
