I live in Japan so the only version I can buy and play is the International Version from the Square Enix store, which I bought today.
When you download the game, they make you download 3 files, the game FF7INT_JP.exe file and two .bin files, FF7INT_JP-1.bin and FF7INT_JP-2.bin.
I have all these files on my desktop.
Then I open up 7th Heaven and select the paths for the game and the mods in settings and click run.
When I click run I get the below error.
"FF7 is currently installed in a System folder which can cause mods not to work. It is recommended you install it al C:\Games\Final Fantasy VII.
Would you like to automatically copy your installation to C:\Games/Final Fantasy VII to continue?"
So I click Yes. Then I get the following text-log below.

Your FF7 installation folder is missing critical file(s). When you installed FF7, you may have accidentally chosen to install the 'Standard Install', but the 'Maximum Install' is required.
7th Heaven can repair this for you automatically. Simply insert one of your game discs and try again.

I'm not sure how it's possible for the game to be missing key files, I've launched the game separately and it ran without issues. When installing there is no option to do a Standard Install vs a Maximum Install, there is a Standard Install or a Manual Install. I've tried both, but the same error occurs.
I'm sorry if I sound totally incompetent, I really have no idea what I'm doing but I want to play modded FFVII so bad.
Please help if you can, I would really appreciate it.
