It's just a child play, not accurate at all. Let's make it accurate ;p

World map (that doesnt have this issue) is at 00969958 from 0074bcfc

It has no sub value.  However there is a further calculation below this which uses fdiv qword ptr [00969960] :  value is 22.0

This is now in the hands of Dziugo who tells me he is rewriting ff7's frame calculations to you know, actually work properly.

I am currently working on putting psx music into ff8 pc.  Today located the volume value so thats not a problem.  next is learning how ff8 sets the actual music so I know which is being played.  That might not be a problem either.

Then its making the dll (which is half done)

Any case, i am sure i'll have use for someone soon.  See I am up to my eye balls at minute

1.  Fixing my music alarm program after 6 years away from it, updated to use bass.dll
2.  Created a trainer in delphi, source sent to kranmer only at this time. Works very well.
3. Created a base template for my ff8 music dll.
4. Created Hexteditor.  Not released yet.
5.  Created hext
6. Created hextchange
7. created multi.dll
8. Menu Project installer being updated.
9. created  a loader program so even 2012 ff7 can use a lot of the fixes and so forth.
10. Created hextract (a hex extractor which reads bytes into text files for use with hext)

And then we have retranslation project on hold among other things.

edit. I have found the music ID also...  I am not far away now.
