I will go with the second

I have edited a bit because it the white on the right was too much. I like the first a bit more but because of the FMVs I think that we shouldn't use it.

Here is a comparison with the original texture

So Dan what do you think?

If everything is fine I need the eye texture with the light spot coming from the right and a with the eye are closed.

The texture is from the battle model which has no closed eye texture so you need to make it from scratch. Sorry about that.

i tried placing it on your screenshot, i hope the lips look like this on the actual model, but im not sure 'coz the model dont show what we want initially

The bow of the upper lip should be more focused to the middle and very decent. You could try to indicate the lower lip with a small line.

Sadly the game only use closed and opend eyes. Maybe it's hackable (for the most characters exist two closed eyes but only one is really needed. Barrett is the only one who needs two eyes, because of his scars), but I don't know how. I look to the textures later. Atm they look pretty good.

Since there's 3 levels of makeup bonuses that Cloud can get, is it possible to use different textures depending on the bonus? It would be funny if the worst bonus could leave Cloud looking like Mimi from The Drew Carey Show.

sir Kaldarasha, i just checked your attached files, and the reverse version of open and closed eyes are the same, just the other eye's reflection is on the other side.. does it mean that the game is the one who reverse these images horizontally?

update:

i adjusted the eyebrow so that he wont look fierce.. the image below my edited eye is the basis of the makeup

Leave the eyebrow as it is. Cloud has no fun with the whole action after all. Besides I think that the real joke is the makeup with cloud's expression.

I think you are free with the choice of the makeup. I ~~probably~~ need a childish version of Cloud's eyes for his children models. I guess the next model will be Barrett.
