It's already out there/possible... load both the miscellaneous and field texture mods, with misc first in the load order.  The Project Edge fields are in misc, and Satsuki/Remako are in field textures.  Winner winner chicken dinner ;)

(I do have a folders-based mod on my local machine that's designed for easy updates via torrent's force recheck/replace mechanism, but I've been having a bear of a time getting the tracker to properly publish my external IP, which makes seeding updates damned near impossible)
Maybe I'm just dumb, but I've tried placing Jusete's mod at the top of the mod list and Satsuki's at the bottom with no success.
No matter what I do, Satsuki's is the one that gets loaded instead.
Any tips of how to get both working at the same time?

From my experience satsukis fields dont play nice with other field mods, ive tried every order, mixing it up, etc... it wont work. to use jusete fields, i just use remako instead. works every time without fail. Satsukis fields might be 10%-20% better and more clean looking than remako? honestly i cant see a huge difference. Thats my take on it anyway...

If you're using a new Satsuki in combination with directly-linked Jusete, then the problem you're running into is that DDS files will take precedence over PNG, regardless of mod load order.  Satsuki created a PNG2DDS conversion tool you can use on the Jusete fields to overcome this, and there may be pre-built IROs as well (I used to maintain a torrent of the converted pack, but took it down a couple months back as work went from "ridiculous speed" to "ludicrous speed" with every indication that we'll soon go plaid).

Thanks. It worked!
All I had to do was drag and drop the original IRO, click "Iro png to iro dds" and load the new IRO into 7th Heaven.
Here's the link of the mentioned tool in case someone else needs it: https://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=19701.0

Spoiler: show
