Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded 1.1.0

Hi guys, I've finished my compilation of mod for the SadNES Italian version of FFVII.
The project is called Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded. I've putted in a single installer a lot of community Mods.
To run the game you need a full installation from the original disk that has to be kept into the drive.
Enjoy!

PS: ff7.exe I've used is the Spanish one translated, some anti-virus recognize that like a Trojan, it's a false positive!

Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded 1.1.0 [italiano]

1) Installare il gioco dai cd originali con l'opzione "Maximum Install"
2) Installare "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded.exe" nella stessa cartella nella quale avete installato il gioco,rispondere "Sì" nel caso l'installer trovasse file protetti da scrittura
3) Avviare il gioco con il CD nel drive dall'icona sul desktop "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded", dopo di che cliccare su "Gioca FFVII ITA Reloaded" e "Run FFVII"

- Terminata l'installazione è consigliabile configurare i parametri di gioco e se necessario selezionare il drive contenete il disco di gioco
- I salvataggi vengono creati nella cartella "Save" all'interno della cartella d'installazione
- Per disinstallare il gioco utilizzare gli appositi un-installer

Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded 1.1.0 [English]

1) Install the game from original CDs setted on "Maximum Install"
2) Install "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded.exe" over the original installation directory, on write only protection question reply "Yes"
3) Set the properties option from "Final Fantasy VII Settaggi" desktop shortcut and run the game by clicking on "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded" icon, need right game disk in drive

- Is possible change settings & the position of Final Fantasy VII disks before play
- The saved game are in "Save" Directory inside the game folder
- For unistall the game use rispective uninstalle and delete installation folder

Unfortunately cant use that patch on my ffvii because is modded in Italian, try to apply some time ago but do not work...
I have made a second screen when is more visible the transparent effect on bars and text:

Before release I want to be sure to have made all the right thing in term of copyright, so there is other thing to do?

Granted i could be wrong, But i think thats what he is asking right there. Remember he isn't a native english speaker, so that could be what he meant.
But! lets clear this up right now..

Thank Aali, I haven't a good English and some misunderstanding is possible, what I want ATM is only present my "little compilation" to the community, and TNX for permission to use your fantastic driver.

Actually, he hasn't asked for permission to use the translation either, among other things. :roll:

I know, need permission to do something like that, that post is only for understand the situation and make the right move.
Today I have contact Duke of the SadNES translation team, if they gave me their permission I can ask to all other modders.

My work is look like titeguy3's Final Fantasy VII Remix, the only difference stay in the language and hope to don't have problem for redistribute mods already licensed to him.

Indrema. Are you making sure you have the proper permission from the modders before releasing the compilation you have?

The compilation will be release only if all modders give me the permission to do that, that's for sure.

I already gave you permission you use my EXE's via PM, also i am now looking into making my Battle Interface work with the original Italian EXE you gave me previously, i have gotten about 10% done so far and i will do some more of it this week (after i finish making it work with the original Italian EXE i will then need to figure out how to make it work with the EXE's i gave you since they have some other already modifyed values)

The patch is ready, this is the readme file:

1) Installare il gioco dai cd originali
2) copiare la cartella "movies" da ogni CD, partendo dal primo ed arrivando all'ultimo sovrascrivendo di volta in volta i file uguali
3) Installare "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded 1.0.exe" nella stessa cartella nella quale avete installato il gioco,rispondere sì nel caso l'installer trovasse file protetti da scrittura
4) Avviare il gioco con il CD nel drive dall'icona "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded", dopo di che cliccare su "Run FFVII"

- Se necessario terminata l'installazione selezionare il drive contenete il disco di gioco dal link sul desktop "Final Fantasy VII CD Drive"

Sorry for delays, I have been some problem on apply Aali's 0.7.9b drivers and decide to downgrade to 0.7.8b, another change is the removing of high res texture in battle, sorry for that but I wanna remove the lags during the casting of spells and rise the spec needed to play the game.

If you want i cant test with u.. recently i have play at the rebirth edition -___- many bugs stop to play that version.. if u want i can play and test and say to u who i find crash or bugs

I've try that too, it's very buggy illegal mod! If you find some bug in my version please send me a PM!

indrema... nice work. Just to let you know we used the 1.02 Spanish EXE as a base for our translation (you can notice by the fact that the submarine minigame wasn't translated and it's in Spanish).

It might be easier for you to integrate the patches knowing what you are dealing with but i guess that Aali's driver is not going to work because it checks the sum of the EXE.

WHOA a compliments directly from a SadNES team member! Really TNX :), but without yours patch FFVII Ita Reloaded never can be reality :).
I know, the exe is the Spanish one, but I haven't problem whit Aali driver on checksum... Lucky?

Stay tuned because when is ready I add DLPB's remastered FMV (in Italian), to compilation!

When you change settings a batch file rewrite part of ff7_opengl.cfg in the main game folder, that process is absolute automatic and on my two system work.
For fix it check the write permission of ff7_opengl.cfg and run the game in an administrator account, in alternative open the configuration file with notepad and edit it.

Ok indrema i got a small issue.

I got original ff7, installed it.

Installed it to maximum installation.
then ran your patch. It patched everything ok ( folder content was all re writtable ).
BUT even if i change settings, EVEN by editing with the notepad myself game runs normally at fullscreen but at original resolution, not at 1920 / 1080 and character avatars are NOT the new ones. No crashes whatsoever, just the new customized parts are missing!

thanks if anyone could help and thanks for this nice little project of yours.

I think there's a problem on your original installation, to fix it remove from control panel every FFVII installation, then run this script (http://www.indrema.it/download/FFVII_reg_cleaner.zip) and delete squaresoft folder (before it backup your Save folder).
After system cleaning:
1) Install the game from original CDs setting on "Maximum Install"
2) Install "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded.exe" (you need the release 1.0.5) over the original installation directory, on write only protection question reply "Yes"
3) Set the properties option from "Final Fantasy VII Settaggi" desktop shortcut and run the game by clicking on "Final Fantasy VII ITA Reloaded"

I tried this one, followed all instructions but cannot bypass a problem.
After the initial credits I get a message error whic say something unhexpected happens and the game quit to windows.

Did you fix Squallff8's final PRP models?
One of them crashes the game in the Nibelheim mansion.
Also, the wrestler model is missing his eyes.
They are both easy fixes.

ok so...i've installed the game in maximum, and then i tried to install this compilation. Well i have 2 problems:
1- this is very stupid but..as i can see in the first page the program's window has several icons, i can't see them and i just have empty icons instead
2- i complete the procedure, i choose all the settings in the Reloaded window and then when i press "Run FFVII", nothing happens.

i don't know why, i tried to uninstall and reinstall all 5 times, and still i have this problem. can you help me please?

ok i managed to play, now i have only to udnerstand how to alternate mods and etc. ;)

oh i write here the problems for the others: bitdefender deleted the ff7.exe file as it was a trojan and so the application didn't start. For the icons' problems, the solution was to put again windows photo viewer as default program for images.

i had  to reinstall all cause i tried to put m004 and now i have this problem: even if i select the right unit with the disc i always have the message "insert the disc 1,2 or 3" and the game doesn't start -_-'

well i have 3 new questions:

1- i don't like so much the avatars and i want to change them with something more classic  (like http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12765.msg177582#msg177582 or http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=12526.msg174051#msg174051) but i don't understand how to change them..it seems that in this pack they are inside "avalanche" folder...but i'm not so sure.

2- i want to try better battlefields cause i'm playing with a 32" monitor and i found out this double pack http://forums.qhimm.com/index.php?topic=11961.msg165762#msg165762 ...i tried to use lgp, but for me it was the first time and i couldn't manage to install the battlefields :(

3- in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBCkLX_lMsQ i've seen really cool textures for robots and also the scorpion, really detailed textures indeed... i tried to search for them in the forum but i didn't find 'em... can you help me?

edit: holy crap :( i tried to reinstall all, and after put maximum ff7 + reloaded ita... i had this strange graphic bug, even if i set all in the reloaded's window (and i checked also the .cfg file...)

edit2: well reinstalling all, cleaning again the reg seems to work. now isntallation and graphics are clean. i will try now to put the other files as u said ;)

All others (like me) are waiting for the release.

So I am guessing I can't download the in-progress mod to see how it looks?

Unfortunately no. It will be released when completed. I may perhaps record some videos one day to show how it looks.

oh my god man...this project looks awesome! chibistyle characters are so sweet! so i think we just have to wait for this BIG thing!

btw all seems good, yesterday i've played a bit and all seems to work well (i will check better for the battlefields going on with the game). I think that this style similar to the original one for the caracters is good ( i mean Final Fantasy VII Phoenix Rejuventation Project + dahfa Models For PRP + Squallff8 Models For PRP) but do u have some suggestions for other remake graphics (also for characters) just to try them?

By the way...yours was a bad a idea...now i will read all that "bombing mission" 's thread, and i will wait for it with this face -----> *____*

bad news: i was playing and i had a blue screen system error. when i restarted the pc, i started ff7 again..and i foudn out the all the graphics is bugged like the screen i posted yesterday...this time i don't know how to solve it... do you know why this strange thing happens? it's weird!

edit: i tried to uninstall and reinstall macimum + reloaded, nothing changed... i have graphic with error and in game is full of blocks :(

i will try with those settings..but it's really weird... my drivers are new, the cache is empty (in root and in avalnche) but well even if i reinstalled i have this horrible thing on my screen:

ok now i will copy those logs...there is a thing i found out... it's seems like the game doesn't start with ff7music in fact i have ruined graphics and the sound seems the midi and not the modded one... really strange indeed.

now i'm in real trouble...i installed sp1 and updates..and then i tried to uninstall old nvidia but nothing... also the uninstaller said "nvidia uninstallaer failed" so i tried do uninstall through "device manager" and that was ok...i restarted and i've seen that all the nvidia software was still there even if i checked "uninstall software" from device manager... now i can't uninstall because i have "nvidia uninstaller failed" message, i can't install the new cause i have "nvidia installer failed" and i have all the screen messed up because of the low resolution. I tried also with "system restore point" but nothing, every time it fails...

i'm oficially depressed now. all these problems at the same time. holy crap :(

UGerstl, you're making things too complicated. If that happens, it means Aali's driver is not even working at all.

PhobosTheMad, open ff7config.exe and make sure it's set to use custom driver.

i cant uninstall 3d vision controllore driver cause it cant locate INF file (same error i have when i try to install driver from device manager :/). By the way i had only this nd other 2 entries for nvidia something again for 3d vision and a photoshop plugin. i try to reboot but i dont think this is gonna work... :(



edit : covarr now my problem is more big than that...my whole pc has been screwed up... ugerstl is just trying to help me in solving this bad mess...

something fast, because it's time for bed:

1- before i went out, i tried to install frm device manager the drivers using the option "let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"...it worked but unfornutaly it worked only with a not so recent driver..
now this is working fine but the strange thing that in "programs and features" i still have the nvidia 285.79 voices...

2- i tried before the sweeper and it didnt work well, i've already known that program... and it's strange but nothing is changed even with that one.

so now i'm with old drivers and i still have the problem: i cant uninstall the previous, i cant install the new ones. I still have also the INF missing error if i try to do something from device manager...
this situation is stressing me O_O

ATM there is no plan for an additional update, BTW all registry configuration can be made from the game launcher included in the 1.1.0 version.

Hello i have a problem with this patch :
i tried to UNINSTALL and clean the registry and re-install everything in this order :

Max.Install + Official Patch 1.0.2 + Aali's driver 0.8.1b and after all that the "Final Fantasy 7 ITA Reloaded" patch

At this point without setting anything else after the install process, i have tried the game : everything worked including the STATUS menu.

Now, i have started to modify, in the window of the FF7 ITA RELOADED patch, one parameter per time (this windows contain mainly 5 voices (in italian)
1- Gioca a FF7 (play ff7)  - when everything is ready, click here
2- Opzioni grafiche (Graphic options) - to set full screen, window, advanced shader (2.0, 1.1).
3- Resolution details (640x480, 800x600, etc to select)
4- Game option (3 voices inside that can be on/off ed : Energy and damage over 9999, Magic defence correction, game speed correction)
5- Disc selection

Ok, now, everything i modified didn't make the status menu crash again, apart the GAME OPTION - ENERGY AND DAMAGE OVER 9999 :
when i turn it on, then when i try to access the STATUS menu, the game crashes with that window ERROR : Oops! something very bad happened etc etc.

So, i really thing at this point there is a problem with the FF7 ITA RELOADED patch : is there anybody that can solve this problem or contact INDREMA that posted first the patch on this forum please? thanks very much :-)

the game is perfect !!! I just want to know but there is no cheat tools on this version? I used Ochu, and also cheat engine but with poor results.
