As some of you know i already modeled a new highwind model but ain't so great at creating uvs and textures. So i was gonna try to do some adjustment to my old model. Then I just decided to start over since i improved a little on modeling. I almost done with the model besides just a little adjustment here and there. So i was wondering if anyone can make the UV's and textures. I'm using blender to model it by the way.

That's if i can find some one to make uv mapping and textures for it that's how i messed up the last model.

Ok finally finished with it just need a couple of people to give it a test run to point out things that need fixing before a final realease any volunteers.

looks great, im glad you took the initiative and did the UV and texture yourself! they looking really good, my only critique is the metal looks kinda bright, and the original is a bit more gray.

Well I for one think it looks great but its just so smooth clean. Maybe little rust or smudges or something and it will look much better.

Thanks for the ideas i have sent the model to some others that have helped me here and there. Hopefully we can get it to look better so we can release an good model for everyone to use.
Edit: while the highwind textures are being worked on i been working on the buggy i should have some results to show some time today.

Here is some progress on the buggy. And again not to great at the textures but i can always have someone touch them up. Any way here are some pics in game.
Not real sure what to work on next i guess the bronco maybe.
Edit:
Here is some work on the bronco textures ain't that great again but sure someone can improve them.

Ok everything is not complete its just a start but i will release what i got if any one wants to modify them and and release and share with others is fine with me. Actually i would very much appreciate if any one can improve the textures on these models. And if Team Avalanche wants to add any of this to there overhaul that's fine with me too. But anyway here it is and if anyone improves these textures please post them please and thank you.

How about showing shots of all untextured models to compare ?
It might give an easier time to texturers out there willing to look at this (and show us your strong suit to boot).

damn costa, im still toying with the highwind! I've been super busy lately, working on finishing my sunporch and concrete countertops, so time not spent doing that is spent having fun NOT at home
I start school again next week though, so i should be spending more time at home so hopefully i can get around to working on them then.

Timu all the models and textures for the highwind sub buggy and bronco are in my last posted download. Even the blender files are in there if u want to touch those up. Sorry guess I should of been more detail to what was in the download

man those are some lowrez textures. id help out, but i have never textured a vehicle before. just some smalltime face textures for gta san andreas :p

heres a start on my buggy, but it still has a long way to go and many details are not even fleshed out yet. I've set the highwind aside for now, it hit a wall and was not getting anything done. Im keeping somewhat with the original style, but something a bit more vibrant and futuresque.
