Incompatibility Crash? Please Help!
« on: 2005-10-06 05:50:50 »
My computer is running Nvidia GeForce MX, Chinese (Traditional) Window 2000.
I installed the 1.02 patch, upside-down movie patch, and tried out every graphic setting there is.
But whenever I try to go the menu, battle, or somewhere else, the game will always crashed and/or exited to window, saying something about 0x0069b26d and 0xf0000004 being "unreadable".

I think it might be because my window is Chinese version.

Is any patch or anything I can download or do to resolve this?
Please help!

in win xp, everything can be set for a "compatability mode"

right-click ff7.exe and click "properties".  hunta round for the compatability setting, and switch it to 95 or 98.
