haven't play FFVII with the bootleg since few month

Does the english to french translation has been fixed for the  digital version of FFVII from the square-enix website?

Cause last time the translate  wasn't working (even with or without the REtranslation)

Just a question, my french translation in the bootleg menu don't work at all in game, how can i do for apply it?

Game is working correctly in any difficulty, but when i want to translate the game in french, all the game stay in english.

This is not a big problem, but that's just for the story. Translate everything while i'm playing is a bit boring, my head is gonna explode^^

Works now, had to reset to factory settings. Thanks though Pitbrat.
Can you tell me exactly how did you do? cause i got the same problem.  And can't find any solution :'(

Edit: solved, just changed the soundtrack.

I got two questions:
Actually in the "New" FFVII on square enix store, fights are in 60 FPS mode. Is it possible to get the same with a future bootleg?
Cause i know people were working on it before the re-edit of FF goes out.

Second:   is it possible to add the french translation for the bootleg with FFVII in new version? cause all dialogs are in english for me, even with translation activated.

Just put your FF Folder at the source of your disk.

Like this C:\FF7  and C:\MODS

Okay, thank you for the answer PitBrat.  And thank you too for your knowedge to improve FFVII :)

But when i'm using the bootleg translation, game stay in english. Could you explain me how to do for put the dialogs in french?
I'm using the "new" version of FF7 (the one from square enix website)

[I just found a save pack on a french website just after the snowboard & submarine game. so i've skip the bug, not really solved]


Hello there, sorry that's me one time again...

I've search on the forum and find a similar problem but there wasn't any solution. (Pittbratt were answered: it was a translation bug in the LGP)

Here is my error:

I've try to take the original files from my installation CD (real CD, not cracked or copy)  and try to rename the snowboard-us.lgp in "snowboard.lgp" or "snowboard-fr.lgp"
I've try to don't apply the translation and let the game in english.  but it didn't work.

Could you help me? i can't progress in the game, and i think i'm gonna encounter the same problem with the submarine minigame.
(Didn't encounteur any problem with the motorbike)

yes, after seeing it, the big part of history in the game stay in my original language, sorry.
Battle textes are in english. Is there a possibility to edit it for translate it in french? (i can translate in french, german, and spanish)

Just some question from a french player:

 Ive got a french version, i use bootleg for install the patch but when i do like that, nothing happens, the patch is correctly done but there is no difference and no new boss on each materia and no improved difficulty.

If i manually install the patch, it works, but game is not anymore in french, is it normal?

And even if i manually install the patch AND running bootleg with or without apply it, there is no change. Same issues than up above.

can you explain better the virtual store folder? i'm french and everything is not easy to understand. i'm sorry. =X

So, if i move the mod folder and the game folder on C:\FFVII-MODS & C:\FFVII-GAME   it will be more "safe" than now?

Yes, only the required mods for bootleg  (Red)

Temp folder is like that

C:\Temp
FFVII mods folder: C:\Program Files(x86)\FF7-MODS
FFVII Game folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Square Soft, Inc.\Final Fantasy VII\

The bike minigame was ok, no problem, but condor don't want to work :(


 everything works perfectly except that condor minigame. Bootleg is running as admin, FF too
I've open Condor.lgp with LGPTools but there isn't anything called "ehelp1.tim.
I got fhelp.tim & fhelp_1.tim but no "ehelp1.tim".


[Edit: Okay, battle begins, but i've got a black field, and a big texture bug, we can't see anything. But the "battle scripts" seems to works correctly. I can continue my game, but i can't see anything on the Condor Battle game]

Hello, i've search on google and on the forum, but i didn't found anything for this problem.

At the first condor encounter, when i say "i'm ready" to the guy, black screen incoming, and nothing.

Just for know, is it possible to make a pack with everything? Cause a torrent download for it should be useful

Did you happen to use folder names with spaces in them?

Did the mods folder and install folder have similar names?
No, but i've install all the mods directly in the FF folder. I didn't maked a specific folder for them (they were in the same folder than ff7.exe & ff7config.exe)

Were you using an FF7 image to install?
No

[Edit: Problem solved. I just Re-DL everything and do it one time again, but this time, i've saved a copy on my external DDE :P ]

Hi, i've got a huge bug, so, i've install the missing parts (Yellow) for my FF7 game with bootleg, i just run bootleg correctly with the original application.

Console open, but suddently crash, and has deleted ALL my FFVII folder O_O Can't find it anywhere. So i've lost all the mods needed for a "HQ FFVII"....
Does somebody can help me?


Few Hours ago i've play FF7 with improved graphics by bootleg and required mods (red) and didn't encounter any problem.
I just install the "mods in yellow" from bootleg mods list.  And when i've launch, i've lost everything.

So many hours spend for nothing :'( have to download everything again.

Hi everyone, i'm a french man so first excuse me if my english is bad  :'(

I've got a problem cause i don't really understand the instructions.
when you say "In the 'Patch' field open 'KernelPatch.ppf'"
Are you talking about KernelPatchv2.ppf   in the Lost wing folder?

If yes: i've got a bug (PAL version) I do everything in the instructions, but after the "Sony entertainment Presents" the screen stay black.

If no: can you explain it to me for found the good patch, or does somebody can send me his FF7 iso by private message?
