Thanks. 4Shared requires registration. I've added it to a Google Drive incase anyone wants this old tool in the future:

Edit: This seems to be the best flevel.lgp editor out there. Not sure why it fell out of favour.

It makes dialog changes very easy that is true, but it was totally eclipsed by Makou_Reactor. MR has the exact same abilities plus so much more.

and in terms of changing text alone, touphScript is by far the best.   So loveless has no ground left, it also has a few bugs that crash the app. Also, changing window positions manually this way is impossible because you have no idea where to place it and it takes forever.  ts was created because it is overall a damn site faster than loveless to edit text.

TS didn't work on heavily modded flevels when I tried to use it. Loveless worked.
So there is that.
Makou Reactor does a good job at that too, though, I remember I ony needed Loveless for very specific scenes that would end up corrupted if I edited them with MR. Both are more comfortable to use than TS because you have a direct preview of your text where as with TS you don't. And I mean preview as in "shows up ingame like this" not "you typo'd there"

I've relaxed a couple of things in the latest version of ts if you're interested, the only reason (other than a bug, which isn't impossible) ts may have refused to work with your flevels is because they had dodgy data, like the 2012 flevel, I've since toned down the data-nazi in me.

I don't remember the exact reason but I'm pretty sure it was because the scene was not vanilla, i.e. custom text lines that would have to be stripped and stuff. its really been a long time. a year, maybe?
and tbh, I never cared enough to test it again. Nowadays I need to know who says the line in the field script, under what circumstances and then what is next / after. Makou Reactor is just the only thing that does allow editing that way reliably.

Yeah ts can't obviously handle adding additional text into the flevel, but it will work if you dump from an edited file.

Actually, Loveless is much quicker and has some more abilities than Makou Reactor (for example being able to search and replace through the entire .lgp with one click -- although obviously you can do more with MR overall). It also gives you quick and easy access to all of the markup shortcuts, and has a better interface to boot.

There's definitely some jobs where Loveless still wins, even if there's more jobs that TS and MR do better.

Hi there,

I'm archiving all my old projects (Hojo, Loveless, Teioh) and I was wondering if someone still has the binaries of Loveless 2.0, 2.01, 2.1, and 2.3?
Moreover, I'm a bit surprised to see that it seems the last version of Loveless I published here was the 2.5 while I own a 2.6 version. Can someone confirm Loveless 2.6 has never been plublished?

Thanks for your help :)

I only find 2.5 on my hdd, for 2.6 you never released it as the export part wasn't finished
