I pretty much just follow your main modding tutorial and use all the mods listed except for where you can only use 1 field texture mod. I have tried both YarLson and  Omzy. I also did a complete reinstall of both FF7 and 7th haven including the game convertor recently right bfore my second post in this thread. As I said it was working before the Fall Creators Update for Windows 10. So its NOT like I on't know what the order and everything is. I want to use Lost Wing+The Reunion together while I wait for New threat to get Reunionized.

*sighs* Ok after some more testing it seems even without The Reunion mod and thus either Because or Menu Overhaul exes and thus still using the ff7.exe it still crashes with the rest of the mods active but it doesn't crash when I use just Gameplay - Difficulty and Story and choose Lost Wing. No it doesn't crash but it does say to check the app.log

Wonder if this has anything to do with the rest of the mods crashing on me. AKA something seems like it might be messed up because of the Fall Creators Update.

So yeah any help with this at all would be great.

Ok after sitting down and reinstalling the game and mods from scratch it crashes like that when I try and use either FF7_mo.exe or ff7_bc.exe aka either Menu Overhaul or Because. It still to bot up when I disable both of those and just use the ff7.exe So I am so lost as to why this is happening now when as I said it was NOT happening before my laptop updated to Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Guess this is just one of those times when they exes are NOT compatible with the newest version of Windows. Hopefully someone who knows what they are doing takes a deep look into all this. Is there anything else I can post filewise that would be at least SEMI usable to figure out what the freak is going on here?

#8 doesn't fix my crashing before game loads. So these aren't applicable to everyone.

Ok this is annoying. This use to work fine but now its crashing when I hit launch game the game window pops up maces a noise then crashes. APP/log doesn't really help

I don't get a crash file either so I am lost as to wait to do.

I alreay removed all the mods and redownloaded them.

B the way the game works fine without mods and via FF7.exe found in the FF7 folder. Things are just crashing for me without explanation even tho this use to work perfectly for me on here.

Sounds like the drive its mounting to is NOT the same one that was used previously hence the error becuase its looking at a different drive letter then the one its on. I have had that problem before and have had to manually change the drive letter to the correct one which ment going through the list and finding the correct one as I forgot which letter it was before.

Yeah I am personally waiting to see if New threat and Reunion get a compatibility patch with each other or not. Before I dig back into the game heavily.

The black bar issue is there when NOT using New Threat. I am personally using Lost Wing+The Reunion and am getting the black bar at the bottom and its annoying me a bit.

This is a config problem in your OS not with FF7.

Actually its not since converting FF7 using 7th heaven forces it to use a single audio ouput device and thus it can not switch to headphones when you plug them in unless the op reruns the batch and chooses the headphone output when configuring audio. and yeah its an annoying problem when you want to switch between headphones and speakers

I've ran into some issues with Water as an element the Water ring prevents my people from healing and even being revived with phoenix downs while in battle  also same thing when I have the elemental material linked to water on defense and when its linked on attack it causes my character to heal the person they hit. The heal when they hit might be useful for healing in long battles but the defense one is annoying. Thought I would bring it up as I don't know if its been mentioned here before or not. Meaning the water ring is pretty useless as an accessory

I am pretty much using Lost Wing through 7th Heaven just to get some different gameplay then the vanilla game since I have beaten it so many time and am pretty much done with vanilla after all these years

How do I set my controls up for my PS3 controller set upped using SCP Toolkit? Since 7thheaven completely bypasses the new launcher that comes with the new version of the game. SCP Toolkit basically sets my controller up as a 360 pad for windows and my buttons are all over the place. Also I have a few dead keys on my laptops keyboard such as Delete,Home, and Page up so I have a few dead keys in the game when playing with the keyboard but I rather use the gamepad since using a keybaord and mouse for FF7 does NOT feel right and just feels wrong.

Basically how do I change the gamepad layout for the modded version of FF7?
