I can do 2.5 x IR, once I go any higher my FPS nosedives, playing Bloody Roar or CvS2 relies on that smooth framerate, anything less and it's a slideshow

With the price of RAM these days, I'd go for 16GB, 4GB is currently and quickly becoming the recommended amount for more and more games, gonna be hitting 6 to 8GB by next year, future proof yourself a bit.

Your phone doesn't run PSX emus???

Mine doesn't even run any emulators, don't use my phone enough to warrant a smartphone, got a LG Vibe, touch screen but by no means a modern smartphone, makes calls and sends texts which is all I need.

As for the model, looking good but maybe dirty up the metal on the belt, wrist band and gun.

Specular and bumpmapping would have to be baked onto the diffuse texture, due to the age of the engine.

Aali's driver apparently has normal map support but very little has been said about how to make use use it.

Yeah Grimmy's Yuffie model has been known to be a bit funky, I think someone else fixed it because Grimmy dropped off the face of the earth.

As for the second one, I can't remember if it's been fixed since or not, you might need to surf around the threads in the graphical mods section to find out.

Nope, it's not intended for use with the Steam version.

Did you contact Steam support to ask for a refund? As it's now a week later, you might not even get a refund.

Surely common sense would kick in to contact support for either Steam or Squeenix.

Best bit is that in 2012 the guy running OculusVR said they did the Kickstarter so that wouldn't have to sell out to the big bucks companies.

I guess a payout to the tune of $240M plus stocks and shares is enough to make a liar out of anyone.

But then I see history repeating and VR once again being a fad for maybe a couple of years like it was the first time round, it'll have some good uses but as an optional gaming peripheral the cost versus novelty factor could well kill it in the end, I have no interest in it, I'd like to give it a try but could never justify the price (currently $350) for something that is little more than fancy 3D, I don't even use the 3D on my 3DS anymore except for the first 20 minutes of a new game just to see how it looks.

I might try for Odine, I can do a camp German cartoon villain voice, Kinda like Nolan North's Edward Richtofen From the Call of Duty Zombies mode.

Would be funny if it did more than just the face and skin colour, I'd love to see it turn my hairy, hulking 290lbs fat ass into an avatar.

139
Shame it's a Kinect game that barely works.

I still rank Tidus one of the most obnoxious main characters ever written for a video game.

Isn't there a 3ds version?

There is one in the works, but I've not heard good things about it.

For anyone that didn't know, there's a fan made game done in Unity that's pretty fun, here's the guys at Node(Basically Corridor Digital and FreddieW combined) playing it intersecting their gameplay with matching clips from the show.

The animation in this show is irritating for how utterly inconsistent it is. Sometimes it's stellar, and sometimes it's awful.

Welcome to a lot of animated shows, they either reuse scenes from earlier episodes, reduce the number of frames in a scene or have a different part of their team work on something major making a noticeable change in quality or art style.

It's the curse of traditional animation since it takes so long to produce, shows done with Flash tend to keep templates due to the simplicity of the software being used and CG based stuff have a lot of the assets done from Day 1 and are often churned out quickly.

145
I'd say they were on Crystal Meth the whole time, it would explain a lot.

Ew wii u go away game

It's finally going to get good games this year that aren't tired sequels and bad ports of games that have been out for ages on other platforms, even if it is only 4 or 5.

147
Make more Marvel versus Capcom's so I can hear more of Yipes' tourney announcing.

Maybe, maybe if you start blowing the Disney execs for the rest of eternity, Capcom ain't got the rights no mo'.

148
@Nightmare799: You're right, it's exactly like the switch from RE3 to RE4, but RE4 wasn't bad now was it? Hopefully square enix won't abandon the old turn based style in the same way Capcom abandoned the horror genre.

Square did put out Bravely Default(already in JP in 2012 and EU last year, coming Feb 7th for the US) which is basically a Job/Class and kinda turn based based Final Fantasy game with a different name.

As for Capcom, they're in a bit of bother financially just now, having just spent around $40 Million to make some games for the mobile market(you know, since their previous efforts there did well... mobile version of RE4 was nasty) out of something like $130M of usable money, they're even bundleing up the first 3 Dead Rising titles(1,2 and Off the Record) into a collection for the 360 to make a quick buck.

Capcom would do well to work on a few HD remasters if they want to put at least a little bit of effort in, but the main ones being asked for by pretty much everyone ever either wouldn't make it past the Wii-U or get the go ahead from SNK Playmore, the games in question being RE Remake/Rebirth, RE Zero and Capcom vs SNK 2 which did hit the PSN store recently but that's a derped emulated version from the PS2 and doesn't really count, may have been done to gauge interest in a potential "HD" release though.

149
What did you expect? It is SquareEnix for christ sake...

I expected it to be bad, but not this bad.

150
So, dat demo, pretty bad.

Discuss.

Fights consist of holding a button, pressing RB/R1, holding a different button, Pressing RB/R1, pressing the guard/evade button, holding another button, pressing RB/R1 repeat to fade.

It's not fun.

The outfit designs are pretty bad too, I can see the Dragoon outfit is meant to look like Kain and the Thief outfit somewhat like Zidane but they're still pretty bad.
