7th Heaven / 7H redownloads mods on launch
« on: 2021-12-13 18:00:10 »
Bug report/Troubleshooting:

Issue: 7th Heaven constantly redownloads mods on launch
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
7th Heaven version: v2.3.3.0
FF7 version: Steam

I have a bunch of catalogs input into 7th Heaven. I have it downloading FF7 mods to the ":\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\mods\7th Heaven" folder of one of my secondary drives. And I just turned off the Auto Update Mods by Default feature, because every time I run 7th Heaven, it tells me all the same mods it just finished downloading the last time I ran it need to be updated again, and redownloads them. It's a whole bunch of mods, and many of them are several GB large. I don't want my mods to be out of date, but I can't have this thing constantly using all my HDD and bandwidth trying to update the same iros. Especially since I'm pretty sure their authors haven't reupdated them in the past twenty minutes. What do I do?

7th Heaven / Sephiroth's Story Mod Broken
« on: 2016-08-13 19:56:24 »
Hey, the iros pastebin catalog file doesn't provide any links for the Sephiroth's Story catalog entry to download any content from, but I'm guessing you guys already knew that. If the Sephiroth's Story mod is so broken or incomplete that it can't be linked to in 7th Heaven as is, why put it in the catalog at all? It's just a broken entry now, and every time I click Download, it just says "Downloading..." but adds nothing to the download queue. Is that an acceptable shortcoming for the program to maintain until the mod can be fixed?

Troubleshooting / Problem with the boards - Missing Images
« on: 2015-03-20 07:22:05 »
I've noticed that in every post on Qhimm, there's a little image that's supposed to go on top of a person's profile pic. The image is*.gif , where * is something like 'mod' or '04', but since there's nothing there anymore, there's just a dead link image there on every post in every topic on qhimm. Is there a way of restoring the image or otherwise getting rid of it?

Troubleshooting / Running FFVII in WINE (Mac OS X)
« on: 2013-02-17 08:14:25 »
Hello. I am using Wine 1.5.23 to try to run the FF7 Bootleg mod on my iMac. Indeed, the game works just fine, but the audio isn't working. I know it isn't a problem with the sound driver because I tried running the 2012 version of the game in the same directory, and the sound works fine in that version, except the backgrounds aren't the Bootleg ones and I can't load my 1998 saves on the 2012 version. I'm using CoreAudio because all of Wine's other audio drivers make FF7 crash. I've tried Bootleg with Wine 1.4.1 and Crossover 12.1.1, and it produces the same result. There was one point where I could get the music to work with Crossover 11.3.1, but I could never get the SFX working. The game, sounds and all, works perfect on Bootcamp, but it takes so long to load Windows on my iMac that I'll barely play the game at all if I can't run it on my Mac OS, so I really don't want responses to this topic telling me to "just load FF7 on Bootcamp" or "just play FF7 without sound". I have Parallels, but it can only use a basic emulated graphics card so when I run Bootleg on it, most of the textures are so HD that they don't show up on the models.

Does anyone know how to get sound working on my Bootleg FF7 on my Mac OS X in Wine/Crossover/PlayOnMac?

These are my computer's specs:
Processor  2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory  12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics  AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512 MB
Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

EDIT: I figured out how to fix the music. I just needed to switch to the FF7music_wine.fgp plugin.
EDIT2: I figured out the sound problem now. I had to set the sound playback device in the third tab of FF7Config.exe to Built-in Output. I probably missed it because the exe always freezes after I test the sound on the fourth tab.

FF7Voice / Project Regenesis
« on: 2012-11-20 21:41:29 »
If there is a program here that was supposed to power this voice project, could I obtain it? Although it would take a massive amount of work to implant every scene in the game with voice acting, I'd at least give it a good try. It's better than being dead, which it is right now.

I found the link to a Crisis Core Save Game Editor at , but the link is dead. Does anyone have it?
