I just saw the recent SYW Unified update in 7th Heaven's catalog listings. However, I'm having trouble finding the 60fps version of SYW Unified FMVs, which is weird, because the listings for the SYW V6 Upscaled FMVs have both 30fps and 60fps versions.

I'm so glad you posted this!  I know that everyone really wants a new release with a better hashing system, but until that work is completed, we really need to get people using this!
Also - I can't imagine not using the new folder hierarchy.  It makes the hashing and modding process so much cleaner and stops us from having to keep re-writing over our old hash1map.csv file - especially if we are heavily modding the game and have custom hashmaps.

In honor of this release, I am going to post the hashmap files for all of the mods currently available.
I will be updating this list as I go!

Put these in (/steamapps/common/FINAL FANTASY VIII/tonberry/hashmap)

HorizonPack v3.0  World, Map, and Vehicles

Pick Eden or Angelwing, NOT BOTH (or there will be glitches)
Project Eden v1.0  Background Fields
Project Angelwing v1.0  Waifu Background Fields

BattleFieldPack v2.0  Battlefields

SeeD Reborn (English)  Title Screen, Text, Icons, and Menu
SeeD Reborn (Spanish)
SeeD Reborn (French)
SeeD Reborn (German)
SeeD Reborn (Italian)

Tripod v2.0 (ALL LANGUAGES)
  Triple Triad Card Game

Rebirth Flame v1.2  Characters

Project Hellfire v1.2  G.F. Summons

Apocalypse v1.1  Bosses

Lunar Cry v1.2  Enemies

I'm sorry to necro a dead thread, but I had a problem with one of the hashmaps. I tried to download the "BattleFieldPack v2.0" Battlefields, but I couldn't because the link gave me the following message instead:

Google Drive
You need access

Fortunately, I found a copy of the files I had previously downloaded on my hard drive. Should I repost the hashmap archive somewhere for others who need it?

Sorry for necroing this topic. But the latest version of this on the 7th Heaven catalogs is 2.298, the latest version on NexusMods is 2.293, and the version here says 2.295. Which one is the real latest version? Or are they all the same but just have the wrong numbers?

I see now, thanks. I couldn't recognize it before because it was only called Project Edge in the thumbnail and not the mod info.

Download links

7th Heaven Iro.
Or from Qhimm's subscription link (it's located in the miscellaneous category)
I can't find "Qhimm's subscription link located in the miscellaneous category". I did manage to find an old 7th Heaven catalog entry from 2020 with a link to a version of Project Edge, but it's only 153 MB, while the link is over 600 MB.
Is the original post wrong? Or is there merely another link to the current IRO that I just can't find?

I tried the GitHub link from the front page. It said "DevinaGithub doesn't have any public repositories yet."

7th Heaven / 7H redownloads mods on launch
« on: 2021-12-13 18:00:10 »
Bug report/Troubleshooting:

Issue: 7th Heaven constantly redownloads mods on launch
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
7th Heaven version: v2.3.3.0
FF7 version: Steam

I have a bunch of catalogs input into 7th Heaven. I have it downloading FF7 mods to the ":\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII\mods\7th Heaven" folder of one of my secondary drives. And I just turned off the Auto Update Mods by Default feature, because every time I run 7th Heaven, it tells me all the same mods it just finished downloading the last time I ran it need to be updated again, and redownloads them. It's a whole bunch of mods, and many of them are several GB large. I don't want my mods to be out of date, but I can't have this thing constantly using all my HDD and bandwidth trying to update the same iros. Especially since I'm pretty sure their authors haven't reupdated them in the past twenty minutes. What do I do?

7th Heaven / Re: Jessie Mod Compatibility
« on: 2020-03-11 22:29:55 »
Not that I know of. Jessie Mod replaces Tifa's model and avatar files with Jessie, so both can't coexist. You'll want to disable Jessie Mod after the opening bombing mission to get the Tifa options back.
So enabling and then disabling the mod won't cause any problems or downsides with the save files or anything?

Speaking of Jessie Mod Compatibility, whenever I activate the Jessie Mod from Misc - Qhimm Catalog in 7th Heaven, it tells me:
"Mod User Interface - Qhimm Catalog - changed setting Tifa to 0 - No Change"
and locks Tifa's avatar. Is there no way to have both Jessie's mod and a modded Tifa avatar?

Is there a comparison shot to show the difference between the default FMVs and these?

General Discussion / Re: FFVIII Remastered
« on: 2019-06-11 05:03:21 »
Does anyone else think Square is just doing what we've been doing the past several years with this game? There are already HD texture, HUD, and music packs for the game here. It looks like the remaster doesn't even expand the aspect ratio. Don't get me wrong; I'm grateful for all this official attention and fresh new coat of paint FF8's getting. But I mean which looks better: that trailer, or the original game with all the HD mods qhimm users have already released here over the years?

Real nice job here. I've been looking forward to these waifu2x backgrounds for a while now. Was maximum noise reduction used?

Yes, waifu is generally better-looking than Project Eden, but upon closer inspection, many of the areas of Nedus's game are still pixelated, like the up arrow sign. A fully functional installation of Eden would at least make it look better than the original game, so something else is wrong here, whether it's the texture folders or the hashmaps or some other third thing.

I'm trying to download the mod, but I don't have a Torrent downloader installed. Does anyone have R05c or later on Mediafire or something?

Releases / Re: [FF7PC] ChaOS -Character Overhaul Seven

Nice models, looking forward to any update to ChaOS, especially involving those. But I've got to say, I would still like to see the HD eye textures, even if just as an optional thing. Also, the swimsuit model's shoulders look like they're hanging to her torso by a thread, and the man in the suit's shoulders look a little too low.

The Mediafire links are dead again.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that a lot of talk has been going on about newer versions of some of the models, ones which aren't currently in the latest public build, 1.66.0. According to NexusMods, 1.66.0 hasn't been updated since Jan 2015, almost two years ago. Is there a secret link to some newer, unreleased version of ChaOS I just don't know about, or is the latest version of the mod just two years old?

Super update, fellas. It's like you touched upon all the stuff I've always talked about needing fixed, but never could since Mago ghosted the forums. And the Devina eyes look so nice.

Releases / Re: [FF7PC] WereXIII (2014-11-17)
« on: 2016-08-14 14:19:04 »
I can't find WereXIII in the 7th Heaven catalog anywhere, and I'm using the catalog link from Tifa's Final Heaven tutorial, iros://Url/http$ . Is that not the right one?

7th Heaven / Re: Sephiroth's Story Mod Broken
« on: 2016-08-14 14:16:44 »
That didn't work for me, because the catalog file on pastebin hasn't been updated, so when it redownloaded the catalog after I deleted it, it still had Sephiroth's Story. What did fix it was manually editing out the entry in catalog.xml that said <Mod>... <Name>Miscellaneous - Sephiroth Story Mod</Name> ...</Mod>. Is the pastebin link in the Tifa's Final Heaven tutorial,, not the latest one?

I really don't mean to necro this topic, but the link to the IRO is dead now.

7th Heaven / Sephiroth's Story Mod Broken
« on: 2016-08-13 19:56:24 »
Hey, the iros pastebin catalog file doesn't provide any links for the Sephiroth's Story catalog entry to download any content from, but I'm guessing you guys already knew that. If the Sephiroth's Story mod is so broken or incomplete that it can't be linked to in 7th Heaven as is, why put it in the catalog at all? It's just a broken entry now, and every time I click Download, it just says "Downloading..." but adds nothing to the download queue. Is that an acceptable shortcoming for the program to maintain until the mod can be fixed?

I know this is already documented, but bghall4a is causing a glitch with the elevators. I'm pretty sure the textures were swizzled incorrectly, or at least that's what it looks like.

I noticed you posted those awhile back. I meant to ask you if you wanted them added to the RF pack or just remain separate. I would also put them on the SeeD Uniform of Quistis and on her low poly models as well. You know, consistency and all that. :D
I'd be fine with them in the pack, and I didn't mean to neglect her SeeD uniform texture, I just couldn't find her textures in any other folder. The low-poly textures would require the eyes to be dumbed down in a specific way, and I didn't know if I could get that just right, since the other textures just needed a simple drag-and-drop.

Back in March, Devina released an image slice that replaced Quistis's fisheyes with FF/KH style ones. A few weeks ago, I took all 6 Quistis textures from the pack, and replaced the eyes with Devina's new ones. Just replace those 6 subfolders of /textures/qu with these:
