I haven't run into that issue but I noticed two things: Guard Scorpion boss fight still has the vanilla colors and Midgard Zolom I remembered was blue mostly but now it is other colors, is this intentional? I can take pics and post them if needed.

I tried last night with a saved game i made with the red submarine, got to bone town after leaving the huge materia in Bugehangen's house and tried digging it on disc 2, then checked online and it would seem the game checks if you've picked up the Megaelixir that's in that spot first, if you have, then the game checks if you are on disc three, if you are not on disk three you can't dig it up even if you dig on the spot it is supposed to be if you lose it. But honestly with all the content that there seems to be on Disc 3 contrary to the original game, I think it is ok to dig that materia on Disc 3 :) I'm just glad I can still be able to breed and get a Gold Chokobo on disc 2 through breeding xD

Sega Chief I was wondering, don't worry is not about the same as last time xDDD I was thinking... did you made an alternative way to be able to get the red submarine or we still have to let ourselves be destroyed in the minigame and lose that huge materia from Junon's reactor? I I've been thinking on this for a while since I like the Red Submarine more than the regular gray one, but at the same time I don't wanna lose any of the huge materia so I can keep getting Bahamuth Zero early without needing to wait until disc 3 to dig it out at Bone Village (even tho with all the content that there seems to be on disc 3 I think that it's not that hard to wait until then, really :/ hmmm

Wait, you actually managed to combine the dynamic mod of Kal and Nino?
Cause i've tried too but on Nino's field model it always only shows his weapons not those of mike and millenia.

Uhm... no I thought he was saying that the weapons that where shown in battle were the ones from Nino instead of the ones from Millenia+mike, I missunderstood what he said, that's all, personaly I'm not interested in HD field models really

I'm starting to hate myself for this u.u I really feel bad since it's such a little issue since it affects nothing to the gameplay and mechanics changes, nor does it affect the other models of this boss. I really don't wanna come out as a nitpicking brat, just wanting to inform you, Chief: the first battle against Guardian Scorpion has the vanilla colors of the boss, I checked and it seems to be the only boss battle affected

To French/Spanish/German users: Is this glitch free?  In the icon menu do the numbers show up as black?  If so, I can fix this for the update as well.  It was an issue with the italian, and if that's the case, it's probably that way for all foreign versions.

ok I can say that in Guide->Icons I don't see any number black, however in that same part on page 3 the VIT, FRZ, etc all have the original low ress letters. I've checked all menus and there is no black numbers anywhere (Spanish Vers)

not only French vers, Spanish also only has the color change without the cool textures :-\

oh that? that is easy to fix, it's a load order thing, in 7th heaven just place Battle Model - Weapons above the ninostyle models and the weapons should get overwriten whichever the option it is that you chose, if you put Ninostyle models above Battle Models - Weapons then ninostyle will overwrite the battle models

Sorry I was a bit frustrated on my last post. I decided to try the game as I was adding tonberry and the mods to it and lo and behold, everything worked perfectly on its own. I'm sorry if I came out rude is just that touching folders in the actual game without a mod manager is new to me and it was a scare, but as soon as I got the hang of it I could relax and forgot completely about the post I made u.u still thanks for answering.

oh great ^^ hehe well I guess my patience ran out a little bit early hehehe, now testing all the colors to see which one i like more :D thank you for this (and for the tutorial on how to install tonberry and mods hehe :)) I got a question, tho, how did you add that texture to the menu?

that is because Nino's Cloud with weapons also changes the weapons and for that I didn't touch the rtaa there since if you chose that option wouldn't it be to show the weapons Ninostyle too? if you want only cloud wouldn't you chose one of the other options? I can check it, I think it is because it needs more ID's for the textures and that's an easy fix :)

I've decided to try and prepare my FF8 game for when the Spanish version of SeeD Reborn is released. So I downloaded this thing as the author said that mod is dependant on this and put it on in the ff8 folder where the .exe's are as the installation say, but then I run into this issues people is having like needing some 32 bit dll's if you playing on a 64 bit OS, there's a link and all to download them but... the link got me to no-where so now I don't know if I can use the mod or not just because I play with Windows 10, 64 bit... well now that's a kick to the balls ain't it?

Also I tried to download DirectX9 runtime as another post said... it won't let me install it because I'm not using Windows server 2003, Windows 98, or others, basically my OS is messing this up...

Oi Saga, can we still get the enemy skill that we got from Chokobos at the Grasslands? if so how, because I've been throwing greens at them but they just keep running away without using their chokobuckle or the ability you might have changed it for, so I'm getting confused... perhaps I'm using the wrong greens?

Also sega did you decide to take away the recolor on the Midgard Zolom? Because it caught me while I was trying to go back to the mithril cave and I saw it was the vanilla colors even if it still did killer damage and stole my life with a bite :/

hahahaha oh well. Oi I managed to fix another thing but I'll ask you about it through PM better. but really this was a bit of a pain to fix, however I just couldn't not at least try to :)

Don't worry I think I managed to fix the problem, I'm just doing checks with all the models of Cloud in the Battle Models Characters, to be sure that everything works, I'll be updating the download link soon since. I recognized the Issue and came up with a way to fix it and thanks to slayersnext and his little steps to make his swords work i could make even his swords work, i just took Kaldarasha's model "rtaa" file from the Characters battle models and put it into all the folder options for the weapons models. Have to do a bit of work with PCreator to put 10 ids for that rtaa, and I thank the "direct folder" on my installation because it's helped me a lot saving me the hassel of having to be packing and unpacking the iro non stop.

I tested the fixes on Cloud's vanilla battle model thanks to that folder, I just added the rtaa file from Kaldarasha. The model didn't change but the swords worked, so I did the same with the three folders, fixed the qunatity of ID's in Cloud's rtaa, putting them up to 10 thanks to PCreator that I managed to get to work, and everything seems to be working with that rtaa now, but it is a base file, without it some weapons would stay white since I think those would have their textures on that file... anyways I'll keep testing the models and upload the fully fixed iro once I'm done ^^

Ok I've checked all the options for Cloud's Models in the Character Battle Models mod, I've checked one by one all of them with all the weapon options. I had to do something with PCreator as I said above, but it was easy thanks to Slayer's guide to make his swords work properly on his post and now every model works perfectly, no white textures, Kaldarasha's model is not missing the shoulder plate or anything and all the weapons and mixes work as they should. Here is the new download link but I'll be edditing the one in the main post.

You should look into Kaldarasha's Dynamic Weapons mod. It has Mike's and Millenia weapons, plus some other Buster options, that fit his Cloud model. I always use the Dynamic Weapons mod when I'm playing, so I have no experience with these issues.

I tried the dynamic weapons you told me and even the very ChaOS mod, the issue persists, as said, the only way to fix Kaldarasha's model problem with the swords is to take off the rtaa file from the folders as it seems something is making those have a conflict that causes the issue, then again, the white weapons would return for the other models except one... Sorry I can't be of more help with this since I don't have any experience on modeling u.u

Ok I got something to say. I've been working o this all day, trying to Fix it and I've come to realize that Kaldarasha's Cloud Model from Battle models - Characters has a conflict with weapon model mods that have an "rtaa" file in them. I checked with the three mods in Battle Models - Weapons, and, in all of them, Kaldarasha's model was missing the shoulder plate and the weapon was slightly off Cloud's hands. when only this didn't happen was when used with millenia+mike, for some reason Kaldarasha's model doesn't need the rtaa for mike's weapons to show their textures. However, in all other Cloud models from the mod, except bloodshot - Team Avalanche Edits, mike's weapons need the rtaa file to work. I don't know why this is but it is what happens, without rtaa the two models above work perfectly, with rtaa only kald's model has some issues.

the thing is, for kald's model to work properly you have to delete the rtaa file from the mods folders, but doing so will make, at least Mike's weapons, go white on almost all other models.

uhm... I think I'm having some issues. I downloaded the Spanish version 3.2 (and of course the base 3.2 english one) but I'm not gettign any colors and don't have the gunblade icon, which leads me to think that I'm messing up somewhere when installing the mod's folders, unless this changes where not on spanish 3.2 version of this mod which would be a shame :/

I think that might be to do with another mod, there were some oddities in certain scenes when certain graphical mods are used. I think Kald's mod had a weird conflict with a scene in the Temple of the Ancients where dialogue wasn't being displayed as well.

I'll check and sort out Tifa's sources; that's a field script thing.

Well I'm using Kaldarasha's battle models on almost all the characters, but it's only in the battle scenes where I have changed the models, I thought those text boxes where not in the battle :/ weird

You fixed the white weapons, but if you load up Kaldarasha's option in the Battle Models - Characters, you'll see that the weapon hilts aren't being gripped and floating slightly off the hands.

Yep you are right... the buster sowrd's hilt is a bit lower than Could's hands positioning :/ am I also seeing that Cloud's left arm is out of place too, this seems to be a thing with the skeleton perhaps one of the files I moved to get the mod to work. I got a back up copy of the unpacked Iro so I could go back to play with the files and work with it until everything is in place

No the problem with the left arm wasn't that it was out of place it was that the shoulder plate was gone I'm once again moving some archives from one to another, managed to fix the Buster Sword just by moving the "rtck" from Mike to Mike + Millenia, seems that pack got the Buster from Millenia instead. Now it's time to work with the Ultima Weapon.

Ok that was strangely easy to fix in the end, which hey, I'm glad it was. using the back up copy I had from the open iro I decided to copy the archives one by one and try the models. it seemed I only needed to copy the "rtaf" file from Mike's part of the pack and of course "rtck" file for the correct buster Sword and Ultima Weapon worked perfectly with effects and all, no white textures or broken effects and the model from Kaldarasha works perfectly as well. I'll upload the new modified IRO file and put it on the first post. thanks for pointing this out EQ2Alyza :)

however Kaldarasha's Cloud Battle Model animation seems to still be slower than the rest for some reason, but other than that all should be good now.

Not all is good... I've managed to fix Kaldarasha's Model missing the shoulderplate and not holding the swords as it should, however this made the BS and UW turn white for all the other options... it still works on Kaldarasha model and Bloodshot - Avalanche Edits so my guess is that classic and the models which images show cloud with a buster sword, take the texture from another Id and that I cannot fix since I don't have the tool for it and the one i got from here is not working for me saying it's missing some file that didn't come with the download :/

Hi there again Chief. I've just replayed through Cloud's Flashback and I reached the part of the library (after you get to save the game) and it turns out that when you get to the Library a few text boxes from Sephiroth reading the records and reports stored there seem broken... they open up but are invisible to the player but you have to make them move as normal as if you could read them. I remember it happened with the previous version of the mod too. Is this intentional? If not i can send you my savefile so you can check it. Sorry to bring up another issue with your great mod u.u

Also I've already went past the point of unlocking  the ranking up for characters. However I found out tha, for Cloud you recive the correct number of Sources but for Tifa, who was my next rank up I got the Sourcces as if they where still x5 I can fix this with Black Chokobo myself, just letting you know about it. Also I'm keeping separate savefiles for all this so if this gets fixed later I can go back and check and I'm glad for once I'm doing that one thing xDDD
