How would you change that? I ran into the same issue when trying to use the post processing shader setup through the mod. The shaders were in the folder but always failed.

You have to put all the shader files in those folders, I just made mass copies in each folder to save time. Make the folders like this: "All_*" "ATI_*" "Nvidia_*" The problem with Nvidia is, there is no ComplexMultiShader.post file for the shader

I had the same problem, at the specified path the required file does not exist.

I create the folder path and then it works. But i don´t have the Nvidia ComplexMultiShader.
I tested this with the Bloom2 Shader and this works.

This solves it for all of them if you can find the missing files..

shaders/All_SmartShader2/SmartShaderPost.fx

shaders/All_SmartShader/SmartShaderPost.fx

shaders/ATI_ComplexMultiShader/ComplexMultiShader.post

shaders/Nvidia_ComplexMultiShader/ComplexMultiShader.post

Those are the only four not functional because of those missing files, ComplexMultiShader.post & SmartShaderPost.fx.

I've done as much a possible to get your sized chars works with my flevel and it's working great but it seems that there's some issues, if a launch a new game, it try to open a model "DXBD" witch doesn't exists.
I've tried lots of screens and dont have spoted other bugs, but if you think some fields could be problematic could you tell me so i can test/correct them ^^

That sounds like something similar I experienced when I just tried the lgp method for other things..

I'm pretty sure you will need to test it with other mods to see how compatible it is, but as far as I've tested, once you get your error solved, this is one of the most compatible mods I've ever used.

Even the updates recently to Niko's turned off messed up Weemus's Seph model in field, but Kal's stuff, I haven't had issues with beyond the tiniest of glitches.

Upscaling videos really is fairly straight forward.

Use ffmpeg to split the individual frames from a video
Optionally/depending on the source: remove compression artefacts with the batch method of your choice; Use ESRGAN/gigapixel to scale
Use ffmpeg to recombine audio and images.

Its very simple with ffmpeg:

   ffmpeg -i video.video $filename%03d.png -hide_banner (splitting)
   ESRGAN/gigapixel
   ffmpeg -framerate 30(or whatever you want) -i '%3d.png' -b:v 6393K video.mp4 (recombining to video)
   ffmpeg  -i video.mp4 -i audio.audio -shortest -c:v copy  videoplusaudio.mp4 (adding audio)

Theres an all in one script for esrgan video scaling too but its alot slower and limits your options to remove compression unless your have a proper interpolated  or trained model that can handle it and still give you statisfactory results on the scaling itself. Like ALOT slower. Ubearably slow!

Had no idea what was being said without voice in a scene already, so I'll just put back in the Advent Children scenes I had with English & Toshiba DVD enhanced which look better overall for now..

No worries, I just wanted to check. I am currently using a mix around with 4 field maps right now, and leaving Satsuki's /char field edits in for all 4, and even yours works great with it as is.

Devised a new ESRGAN Prefilter that is less damaging to detail yet smoother than WAIFU prefilter.

After some consideration due to the increase in workload that comes with it I decided to apply it selectively to keep highest possible precision intact for areas that dont need filtering. Its a bit of a slower process but it feels worth it to me.

Affected on this map: bathroom clutter, some walls, couches, pillows/bed headlight, flower-table corner, bottom end of stairs and large window light

Thanks! I finally finished it and am going to release the English version of 4.1 today!

Added some nice touches since these screen shots, edited some saturation levels, and fixed some glitches -- so we'll see how it goes!

This all looks amazing, looking forward to the update link.  Literally, have been waiting to add this mod until it's updated. lol

Realy complex processing with at least 4 or 5 tools, some home made and witch only work in my computer environment (with dependcies, specific cpu and gpu ...)
Try virtualdub2 it's doing this in an easy way, or go fro avisynth (thats the way i edit my video but not realy easy to handle)

Nice. Yeah, I'm still blown away by the work you've done on the videos, I even dropped my AC Blu-Ray bits I'd added, just because your work was so impressive.

Event is 7H only. It fixes the feet of some models when they use Cid's or Barrett's animations, like the fat crew member in the Highwind. You need to rename these animations, pack them into the char.lgp and add them manually to the model with model loader.

The animation folder contains the new animations. I outsourced it just for maintenance reasons. I actually have a few more but they are hight corrected, which means that the models don't go through the walkmesh. Though, this doesn't fully work in game because the models can be bigger or smaller depending on the scales they have for a field, but it looks much better this way.

This explains the balanced glitches (I mean very little and barely noticeable) I've experienced in detail, while running insane amounts of mods and alterations from field, to world, to battle, amazing work..

That is a lot of work to take it out of 7th heaven, but thank you for sharing.

Alright, I only added one feature to the final edit by Satsuki, which I'm currently testing out for others to use (Char ONLY option tested and working so far with OGFields, Remako, & Ark)

The option only turns on just the /char folder, in case someone wants to use other field map mods which don't have any of these smoother /char folder edits..

Other community .iro alter if missed: "All I did was take apart the World_Textures_2.0 .iro, added your updates and repackaged it exactly the same (when you go into the options you can choose your new updated world maps or the other choices, all still there)

Usage:
To unpack an iro-file place it into packed. Run the bat file and select unpack when you are asked.
To pack a folder into an iro mod file, place it into unpacked. Run the bat and select pack.

Keep in mind that the bat will create iros which are always compressed by content.

Well I certainly feel your pain on that one. I bought the re-release (before it's steam release) and went to download it again a few years later only to realise it "apparently" expires  :|. Didn't realise I was buying a temporary edition of the game. I wasn't going to re-buy it on steam after that, but the inner collectionist in me gave in and I promised myself it was the last time I'd pay Square for FF7.

I have bought this game since the PSX days on it's release date day, continuing to re-buy it over and over, again, and again as I moved and lived life..

I have the PC 4 disk version, Steam's, and PSX phys copies even now..

Square is not Square, it is a conglomerate company now, and they should have just made the PC version open sourced at this old age for modders and let it be.

Hmm, really odd issue I wasn't expecting. Your field's .iro breaks everytime I try to unpack it, and only unpacks about 1/3 of the total before stopping altogether, very strange..

I mean, it's working as is, fine, but I cannot alter it, or take it apart, at all.

EDIT: I got it, I just used the simulated dos app you did to upack and viola..

Also do you have an iro for a battle model ennemies ? i use the one who figure in 7th heaven but it looks older

There is a sample image in both 7th heaven IRO's, that's the best quick way to have a comparison.

I'm pretty sure they made a deal with him, because the regular updates suddenly stopped and a few promised feature of the next version were then present in the re-release. Like the ogg support. So they had access to code nobody else except Aali had his hands on. Well the past is the past and now is now, this is no excuse that 7H doesn't work with the re-release, because the driver isn't a real dependency for it, only for the texture replacement. Well, actually the re-release can be moded with umod (the last version of textmod) or even Kaladiens tools. But the texture output is full with garbage. So I didn't look further into these tools.
It wasn't stolen. Not going further into this because it isn't my story to tell, but the rerelease was 100% on the up-and-up.

Yeah, I had no choice but to get into 7th Heaven's setup or I was never going to see better field maps.  I honestly don't care about who's getting or not getting paid, it's nothing but capitalist barriers between my purchase and proper modding enhancements.  If everyone was working together without competition to ensure the best experience was an option instead, this wouldn't be such a mess..

It might be that they forbidden him to support it since they used his code which source he didn't share freely. I replaced the launcher.exe with 7th Heaven and ff7_en.exe with FF7.exe and steam played it as if it was the correct game (though without getting achievements that's handled by the real launcher). Though, of course you need the downpatch and some edits to the registration so it's not a trivial copy paste and replace thing. But with a straightforward method the whole launcher and login strawberries can be replaced. I think that's what the next reunion version will do. All what's left to do would be to edit achievements.dat when certain conditions are reached.

I think I get you, it was a team effort to crack it, they then even stole the work done to fix the game, gave no credit to anyone, and folks would rather not deal with it further after their response.

I don't care really about achievements, I just wish I didn't need so much RAM to run a lot of mods (Thankfully I have 32GB's).. lol Good news to hear, though for those who like that sort of thing.

No the DRM isn't the problem. Aali said he won't support the re-release and that's it. Maybe the upcoming Vulcan adaption has support for it. Though, R06 seems to come with its own softer downgrade.

Really? So Squeenix softened the lockout but no one wants to deal with the changes now.. Funny. I remembered having to make an account just to play the dang thing when I first bought, it, ridiculous enough..

Is it possible to get this working on the steam version? Converting the game to the 98 version is a massive hassle on Linux.

I'm sitting here with tons of mods from top to bottom of the load order on the FAQ, including four other field mods, all working, on & off with Satsuki's on & off respectfully.

I have nothing in my texture folder, ever, with everything activated, it doesn't work like that. The texture folder is there to build your own stuff from everything I've gathered.

Again, last time I got 7th heaven working, everything but field maps worked, I had to re-install after cleaning the registry, to get 2D field maps functional.

It might be your issue, it might not, but it's possible. 

However, the Reunion I do not use, so I have no idea if there might be a conflict there, either, as that's why I didn't use it, because they are still building it and NOT updating it for fixes right now..

Also, I never use Tweaks & Cheats, or Difficulty & Story either, so no idea on those and compatibility, either.

Hello. First time posting. I'm a bit confused as to how to install these mods. When I import them or place the iros in mods, 7th Heaven folder, I don't see any difference. They are active and are in the proper load order. But when I unpack each iro and then place the folders in the textures folder of 7th heaven, I see the mods working. When the iros are imported, shouldn't 7th heaven automatically process them and place them in the textures folder. It's always empty when I import the iro and place them in the mods folder. Which is the correct way? Manually by unpacking each iro or importing them through 7th Heaven and then put them in the correct order? Or do you do both. Thanks for any assistance.

No, .iro's only run during the game, period, must be activated, configured and set to on or off.

I manually unpack everything with the IRO creation tool, you may have to read up on any technical uses beyond basic unpacking and repacking, load order, et cetera.

If you want them to run manually, in the textures folder unpacked, you have to build a mod.xml code list, have you done that?

I don't do both.

I don't do the textures folder, either. I only build and pack my .iro's because of how easy they are to deal with.

Finally, if you're not seeing anything and have no other field mods applied, turned on or activated, you may have an improper install, as that was my last experience with 7th Heaven, before I made sure I had nothing remaining in the registry..

I am now working flat out to finalize the installer and get R06 out - even if an update is then needed down the road.  At some point it has to be released and we've waited long enough.

I just want to rip apart the files and dig into it, cannot wait..
