Does anyone else notice that the music stops playing after the first battle in the bombing mission?
I've never had this problem before.  Also, I haven't used your .ini yet.

352
Sorry about that.   :-D
That one was frustrating.

353
So the children's children's children can milk it for all it's worth until long after no one cares anymore.

354
I have 1.5.1.1 as well.  It seems covarr made some changes to this already since his .ini is different than the default by more than a little.

355
Hmm, that's very strange.  I'm using the .ini that came with covarr's guide but it has no loopfudge.

356
This is great, thanks.   :-D

However, I can't find that in the .ini, is that the same as the buffer in out_wave.dll?

Awesome!  Also, I don't know much about program creation, but is it possible to make an installer that unpacks, modifies, and repacks the archives to save us trouble?

In his defense, at first glance it doesn't seem to do nearly as much as it's actually capable of.

Someone mentioned in another thread that a readme should be made for this to go over all of the features and how to use them.  If you do make one include a log of all changes, known issues/solutions, what it does exactly, compatibilities, etc.

Also, excellent work on this guys.  It's awesome.   8-)

359
O:  Is that seriously the issue?  Crap, I lost some good data.

360
I know, but it makes it easier to get things done.  XD

Thanks.

My account's admin, but how do you disable the UAC?   :-o

I like the world map model, but I noticed it doesn't include animations for walking through forests or world map curvature.  I'm not sure if it was on your checklist so I thought I'd just point it out.   :-D

Wait, that seems to be a problem on my end, sorry.

363
Haha, I guess the difference between when I played it last and now is that now I have 7 x64.

Problem isn't it?

I also notice when I save progress and open it in the editor, it shows the same stats/location of when I originally saved it back on my XP system.

I have a feeling that backing up my save files won't do me much good.

364
I also noticed this with aali's driver.

Now that I reinstalled without it I seem to have the same issue still.
Hmm.

Is it possible for someone to convert this into world_us.lgp just for the Cloud model?   :-D

I think it'd make a good model for that.

I know, the mp3s are as trimmed as they'll get.  Configurations that I'm not familiar with will have to be tinkered with to get it to sound perfect.
Not to mention that the loop is back to the beginning instead of a certain point in the song.  To make it right it would take a lot of research to find what loops to where when then the mp3s would also be much larger.

But hey, it's an improvement.

368
There still seems to be an issue with the buffer, about a half second but still noticeable.

Does anyone know settings in the in_mad.dll and out_wav.dll that make for smooth looping?

Enjoy.   :-D

I'm using LoopBe because I can't seem to get the driver or ff7music to cut out the midi.  I've tried different combinations of music_plugin = plugins/ff7music.fgp and fake_midi = true but still no dice in ff7_opengl.cfg.

I was wondering if there is a trainer that works with this driver or do you have to use cheat engine?  Even then a lot of the values (save experience and gil) will likely be the same.  Levels, stats, things like that.  Plus it's limited in adding items and materia.

Hey, sorry to but in since this conversation seems to be elsewhere but I'd like to offer up decently trimmed files of the remastered soundtrack.  I'm about 8/23 of the way there and I've been working all night, I'm going to bed then I'll finish in the morning (it's 4 am here  :-P).

I've been opening the files in audacity, trimming the beginning and end, then testing it in itunes on loop to make sure it sounds right.  If it doesn't I go back and change it until it does.
I've also got bombing mission sounding perfectly.  It's not a great deal to offer, but it saves people a lot of trouble in terms of getting things sounding right using this guide.  I, for one, like the remastered tracks and hate the gaps between loops.  Granted it's not perfect, but I'm pretty sure by the time I'm done it will be as close as I'm going to get.

I've also changed the ob track to the trimmed bombing mission one in the ff7music.ini.  I'd be happy to host this on megaupload when I'm done if I'm allowed (since it's not my work and all).
