I didnt mean by that. SP2 have lots of problem, the main reason why MS release SP2 for security of IE and that is all, but sure they add more minor fix but some bugs that they never bother to fix it. SP2 is more buggy than SP1, that why im still sticking with SP1

Oh, yeah that's an undocumented feature too. Ha ha ha, well good news I fixed the "Alt+Tab lose controls" problem & added a cursor to the Window. I am still struggling with the damn TXT fxn, I found something cool though, there is a Word Pointer, that you can patch to emulate standing somewhere "e.g. A Save Point", but that didnt help on my search for the TXTfxn
I dont really know why they didn't use a simple..

i just borrowed ff7 from a friend and installed it and now it keeps crashing on me. i have windows xp and it always crashes in the room in the beginning where Jessie first tells you how to use ladders. When i try to get out of that room, windows throws me a "send report/don't send report" message.
i have windows xp sp2. also, i have the legal version of ff7. I've tried many patches so far and none of them worked. Is there a specific fix for this problem?
I am on SP-2, no problems whatsoever.

erh..Ctrl + Esc doesn't seem to work for me..

Yes anything higher than 640. It looks pixellated on my comp

Download 1.02 patch and Install it.
Download the DUCK Codec Update and Install that too.
If it stills gets out on loading you should check the paths on your Registry to see if they are correct.

That's ok I don't take your post personally, it's just that you implied that FF7w messed with your configuration & FF7 files even after "uninstalling" it, which as I posted is impossible just wanted to clarify that. On the other hand all feedback is appreciated.

Look even if was the patch, all FF7w "changes" are performed on runtime that means that the patches are not permanent, so you can decide when and how you want FF7 to be changed everytime, you dont even need to delete FF7w to "remove the changes", just dont run FF7 with FF7w, 'cuz my program does not edit the any file in any way, all changes are performed in memory every time you run the game.

2. The pixels & funky bg are your card's fault not FF7w since it doesnt mess with the graphic engine nor graphics for that matter.
3. Don't Alt+tab press Ctrl+Esc, you will be able to Multi task without losing controls. Also I thought that most of you used a Gamepad!

Problem Solved! Stupid "Get out of the Save Point" Routine
