Hi, my game stop to run when i chose new game....anyone know why??

Yeah. It's probably because either

a) Your FF-Disc doesn't like you.
b) Your computer doesn't like you.
c) Zod doesn't want you to play the game.
d) *Insert reason here*

Seriously. You'll have to come up with at least a *teenieweenie* bit more info than this.

So, things we want to know:

1. System Specs
2. What game?
3. Error message? Black screen? Back to Windows?

Stuff like that.

Sorry, my english is terrible... and i think this forum was only about FFVII

my  PC is a P4 3.2HT / 1g ram / Gforce 4 Mx440 + drive 9.1.3.1 / 120g hd

I chosse new game and them the screen still all time black

I change de registry of movies path to the real one and nothing too, install de 1.02 patch and nothing...., the ff7betap1 too but still black... and re install all but continue black....

movie player already installed too....  help plz... and sorry, im noob on this yet....

No, this forum also covers Final Fantasy VIII, but it's more mainstream Final Fantasy VII.

And I think that maybe you may have screwed up the registry entries...are you SURE you completed the entry with the final slash? It'll feck everything up if you didn't. I guess running the game in Win98 compatibility might help...

Probably a codec pack might help, too. Dunno what to recommend you, though.

The registry path is right way to files - C:\Arquivos de programas\Square Soft, Inc\Final Fantasy VII\data\movies

I install the Duck Codec and stay black after choose New Game

Put in Win98/me compability and nothing too.... im using win xp sp2

I dont know wath more to do...... :cry:

A light plz.....
