You shouldn't install the 'fake' windows XP 1.4 patch. See http://forums.qhimm.com/viewtopic.php?t=1656 for more info.

Uninstall the patch and search for the official 1.02 patch instead

What version of the game are you using and are you running any patches?
Have you tried reverting to software rendering in the config program?
Have you tried setting windows 98 compatibility mode?

Maybe the multipatch would allow you to run in hi-res and use the music patch at same time

You ned to provide your systems specs, ff7 config settings etc.

try running the game in software render and quarter screen. You can also try setting the game to run in windows 98 compatibility mode

General Discussion / Need ff VII save!

http://www.cheatheaven.co.uk/pc-cheats-1/finalfantasy7_savegame.htm

Did a quick search and this seems to have a collection of saves, just copy them to the save folder. You can use Qhimm's Jenova save editor to change the stats etc. to your liking.

I'm not sure if its possible but it would require you to bypass the cd copy protection which afaik isn't legal. However copying the Cds onto other Cds should be fine

I think the purpose of the room room was simply to test different parts of the game. It allowed testers to try different options and skip to desired parts of the game

trying puting the cursor on, at least it will make navigation a little easier

Quote from: Contra
When the game is paused in battle, all battle help text and textures slowly "scroll" through the texture sheet moving to the upper left.

It actually makes for a cool screensaver in battle, but... it's probably not intentional

Check it out.

This happens with my FF7 even without the high resolution patch

I used to have this problem back with windows 98. It ended up being a DirectX graphics driver problem but apart from that i dunno
