Not that I know of. Jessie Mod replaces Tifa's model and avatar files with Jessie, so both can't coexist. You'll want to disable Jessie Mod after the opening bombing mission to get the Tifa options back.

So my issue currently is that no matter what I have the settings switched to, several mods keep deactivating to due compatibility issues.  Mainly, using the Resize Project from the Field Models 3.0 catalog and Using New Threat from the Gameplay 3.0 catalog.

That’s right. You answered your problem by saying they have “compatibility issues.” RP will deactivate NT because they’re incompatible. They both modify the flevel.lgp, which can’t be mixed together when modding FF7. Sorry for the confusion.

No, NT's IRO from your thread isn't a standalone download in the Qhimm Catalog. It's directly unpacked and unedited into the Gameplay category as its own option.

I believe this is a case of the Red XIII field models by WolfMan. In older catalogs, they had Reunion patches and separate options to choose. Those options disabled mods altering the flevel because those WolfMan models needed its own patch + Reunion flevels to function. I removed Reunion and those model options from Catalog 3.0, but I forgot to look at the compatibility tags that were attached to them. This might have caused a shift in ID values in those compatibility tags, now pointing to a different Red XIII model that is disabling mods with an incompatible flevel. New Threat was one of those. This is obviously an honest mistake and will be fixed.

Too much hearsay going on, so I please ask that no one assume anything was done with Catalog 3.0 without talking to me about it first. Keep the discussions here about the 7th Heaven tool itself, and direct your questions about Catalogs to the 7th Heaven forums where Strife and I have our Catalog threads, or alternatively on Discord.

First off, please deactivate everything except ESUI and report if and when it crashes.

Secondly, deactivate the standalone ESUI and try using it from User Interface - 3.0 from the Qhimm Catalog.

7th Heaven / Reunion + 7th Heaven - The Final Answer

The Reunion will not be included in any Qhimm Catalog moving forward.

DLPB (Dan) has made it very publicly clear, through both words and actions, that he does not want it featured anywhere except within his own domains. That means no catalogs, no .iros, no separate threads and no alternative hosting sites. This is not to guarantee people won’t still do it, so I can’t speak on behalf of them. But I can speak for the Qhimm Catalog, and it’s not happening.

With all that said, there are a couple things that need to be addressed for others not familiar with modding FF7 to understand. The most complex mod to ever touch this game is The Reunion, hands down. And unless you have taken the time to crack it open and see for yourself, you will never fathom what it takes to even attempt implementing it into something workable for 7th Heaven.

First off, prior to R06, the method of modding was through an executable installation. It was much easier reverse engineering to pull out parts of it like BEACAUSE or MENU OVERHAUL and begin the attempts to format it (.iro) for 7th Heaven. Parts of it worked well, while others not so much. After the first publish of it in 7th Heaven, it didn’t take long to realize how incompatible it was with basically ever mod there is. The Reunion touches so many aspects of the game files, that it’s almost guaranteed to break at some point throughout the game when a Reunion file finally clashes with the same file of another mod it doesn’t like. The Reunion is still in development and crashes with itself, so let’s combine it with other mods and hope for the best...whoops...

The game crashes...there are hundreds of thousands of game files, so now try thinking about troubleshooting that without the knowledge of knowing what exactly the Reunion is changing. The only way this can happen is if DLPB is working directly in tangent with the other mod author to help build and fuse them together as one. A prime example would be with New Threat, which is constantly asked if compatible with Reunion. The only answer to that is never...not unless DLPB and Sega Chief decide to fuse them into one. The amount of work for that would take years I imagine.

Now secondly, R06 introduced DLPB’s own method for modding FF7, which in conjunction, basically made R06 proprietary to it. It also baked in restrictions for use with 7th Heaven. R06 is proprietary and 7th Heaven restricted...the message should be clear at this point...

It was in past Qhimm Catalogs so why can’t it work now? With much humility, I will admit that it was a mistake, and I’m sorry. Sorry not only to DLPB, but also to the community for leading us to believe we could have everything. We need to stop asking about the Reunion and leave DLPB to his work. Moving on is the only way to set this issue free of its past and create a better future. In fact, we’ve already paved the way for this to happen. MENU OVERHAUL was finally removed in Qhimm Catalog, only to be replaced by Enhanced Stock UI. This was specifically developed by Chrysalis and I, so that the community could have a new menu mod in active development that is capable of working with other mods we love. This is how we need to build this modding community, by earnestly developing and giving something for each other, rather than desiring and taking everything for ourselves.

If anyone asks about The Reunion + 7th Heaven (or other mods), please politely guide them to this post and try to leave it at that. The only way we’re going to work and grow as a community, is by accepting this together for what it truly is.

And by the way: Is it just me or are many mods missing in the new FH 2.0 Version? A simple example are the Avalanche field scenes and many others are not in the catalog anymore. Refreshed the catalog already, but nothing changes. Are many mods incompatible with the new version or what is the reason?

Most are still there. These TA fields are in Miscellaneous now (md1_1 md1_2 are in it), Reunion options were taken out, ESUI replaced Menu Overhaul, and a couple of the movie options were removed (they were old and taking up too much space).

The Catalog 2.xx Categories were condensed into one Category download, but the options are all still there in the Configure menu.

New mods were also added, such as the popular ninostyle models.

So its well an truely past the 3rd. You do know that America is not the first country past the international date line. So this should be released already. When a game comes out NZ is generally the first country in the world to get games. Its past lunch time. But i suppose it still is the 3rd. Hope this hasn't been delayed till the 10th of april...

Been fortunate enough to have been invited to poke around for the last couple of weeks.   If it's helpful here's a quick compiled list of things I've found so far mod / catalog related specifically in regard to 3.0.  Hope it vaguely helps and I'll try and keep updated.  If there is a better way of reporting etc to avoid redundancy, please let me know.

Note: These are present as of 2/21 with a fresh install of Catalog 3.0 Mods as of (except for media which is currently down).

Fixed and uploaded new files for the above slashed. Please uninstall your current and download them again to test it.

Don't worry about preview images. New ones are coming, but it's the final thing on the to-do list. Fixing the errors/missing files takes priority.

I know about the Aerith and Turks models, which are fixed and uploaded now. Can you be specific to which others rather than labeling it MULTIPLE.

Fixed and implemented in the 367 build. Media downloads will come back once we've situated the bandwidth options.

I'm not sure what this means. There aren't any compatibility tags between Field Models and Minigames. Currently, Main - Cloud will only lock to No Change when enabling any Dynamic Weapons - Cloud option and clicking the Save button.

This is the kind of post that illustrates why I'm here for the community 100% but I'm not here for folks who feel entitled to everything, especially after they admitted being someone who pops in rarely over 4 years offering nothing in that time frame except silence or complaining.

Yep, they both are limited on USER bandwidth. I've used my VPN to change location, and the transfer quota recorded on my MEGA account will change back to 0. Quick searches on the internet have shown problems from 0GB up to 5GB before hitting quota limits.

I'm looking into other options for 7H down the road.
