I think you've done a really good job!  My one suggestion would be to add some noise or a blur filter over the eyes.  The eyes really stand out as crisp and clear while the rest looks more blurred or fuzzy.

No it's actually the wrong music. I'm talking about the scene in which Cloud runs after Sephiroth and gets impaled on his sword, before throwing him in the mako. Cloud's theme is supposed to play during this moment, but in the Steam (and PS4 and Switch) version, it's the mako reactor theme that plays. Here's a timestamp at 2:39:00 of a playthrough that Maximilian_Dood did recently. The scene in question plays with the wrong music.
He's right.  Just checked two other youtube videos that I believe are playing PSX version.  This one is hard to hear, but I at least know it's the Playstation version

I would have loved to listened, but good god the interviewer's voice is unfathomably bad.  Why is there a filter on it? At least I'm assuming that's a filter. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard

I definitely agree with the single button press.  As it stands, you can spend a lot of time trying to line up the slots just right. And if that way is implemented, you would definitely want to get rid of the misses

Well, it could be possible that shinra recovered his sword after he died in the reactor.  Then during the shinra prison escape jenova used it to kill the president.  It's not impossible

Why does improved graphics equal poor storytelling?  Surely then we should just go back to a time before movies and video games, or even picture books.  Good storytelling is enhanced by quality visuals and audio, not the other way around.

60fps does work and is quite playable and a notable improvement but it's still not a 1.0 release and has more than a few bugs. The Reunion by DLPB when it has a r06 release should have most of those bugs fixed, but there's no current release date for it

Interesting.  Though the CRT filter helps hide the low resolution of the original backgrounds, it also helps hide what improvement was gained from this method

If you're taking liberties, I think saying "100 clues like that one" is a bit too on the nose.  Something like "100 more clues" doesn't draw as much attention to the clue itself.

Working with animations in kimera is a nightmare. It's awesome that borde implemented it, but editing them leaves a lot to be desired

You should probably contact Square Enix and see how much money they're willing to give you for it.  Awesome job!

No tool currently exists to export animations. If you create one that successfully converts them to a usetable format then back again that would be very helpful for editing them to be more natural. Kimera can edit animations a and I think there is a source code, so that may be of some help
