Title: Final Fantasy IX: Garnet is main character

This mod allow you to change Zidane for Garnet as the field main character.

Installation

Make a backup of the original p0data7.bin file from your game's StreamingAssets folder in case you want to revert back later. Copy the p0data7.bin in your folder.

Things to fix
Garnet have no riding chocobo animation on world map. I don’t know if I can fix this.
Some animations needs to be fixed.
For now I can’t remove Zidane completely from party.

Plans for future release

Fixing animations for the Dagger, the pickaxe, flame at beginning etc…
Get better animations for the theatre battle scene.
Adding the others summons and some white magic (full-life and holy) for Garnet.
Modify prison cage-garnet ennemy.
Remove zidane completely from battle.
Modify the script, keeping it the most canon possible.

This is sweet! Congrats on your mod.

If you ever get around to updating your mod to modify the script to reflect the fact that Dagger is the MC, that would be just outstanding. Tons of people would want to play such a mod.

This mod sounds perfect for me! I always liked Garnet more than Zidane. Is it compatible with the other gameplay mods?

It's compatible with moguri but I don't know if it works with others mods.

Hi Piano

I was going to PM you but it keeps coming up with an error. I've just started modding FFIX and I downloaded the Moguri mod before adding your file and it isn't working. I haven't added any other mods.

If there's anything you could suggest to help I'd appreciate it.

I have installed Moguri files and then I replaced the p0data7.bin in the folder: FINAL FANTASY IX/MoguriFiles/StreamingAssets
