lemme ask you a questionBecause the forum rules say it doesn't support pirated copies...
Why do you care so much? because if he gets in trouble for his pirated copy then thats his fault not ours but im just saying if he is happy with what he does why bother? it makes me laugh tbh because if he gets caught then tough bull i mean the only reason im saying is because he was probally just looking for a mod update not a new game hehe
but anyway this guy has left the forums so it doesnt matter if he has a coppied version or not you can still run the mods on it and that is that aslong as hes happy who gives a bullThe point here is, pirating is bad. So if he has a pirated copy, I'm not going to help him. If you're going to pirate, you should either 1, not make it blatantly obvious at LEAST, or 2 not ask for help altogether.
Ok he pirated, but he can't do any modding with a pirated copy and yes there are moral issues but the integrity or legal security of the site isn't at sake quit riding his ass. Good luck in your research, you'd be surprised how much has been accomplished in the past year using aali's driver and the hard work and will of the members here. I'd say 90% of everything is redone save battle models and areas and field textures. The only one you'd notice though is the field textures which are being worked on very hard by Team Avalanche but there's a lot to be done there.Actually, yes he can, he just has to pirate the right version. As long as he can find a pirate version of the 4 disc game, he wins. And at this point, I'm not riding his ass for any reason, I'm just stating facts... which I should probably stop doing as it makes me come off as an asshole.
on that note, i beleive (as far as TA is concerned) we're making it very unlike how square enix would remake the game... They' likely keep it to compilation style (more realistic) and would probably overhaul the gameplay to be more like ff13 or crisis core. You know, I honestly wouldn't mind too much a remake similar to crisis core. However it wouldn't be VII.
None the less, you still pirated the game. Even if you have legally the discs you went and downloaded a pirated version of the game. Which in all honesty I don't under stand why, Ultima is a really crappy version I hear.... All kinds of bugs.PIRATE!!!!We don't support the ultima edition of ff7 on this forum, as it is pirated. so....
Step one to upgrading ff7 - get a legal copy.
I have a legal copy, I downloaded the UE to play on Windows 7 and with non-SD characters before knowing about a patch to make the legal copy work on XP/Vista/W7 and about the many mods out there... sorry for asking here, bye.
il check that allis out too got alot to look up for making my final fantasy 7 a better game cant wait for other mods to come out too woot this will be nice to see a total upgrade for ff7 i wish there was a final fantasy Vii-2Technically you could consider AC to be VII-2
Maybe someone should mod it to make it glow and shimmer.you know, it really wouldn't be a bad idea... then maybe more people would realize the function exists.
what exactly is the difference between these two blue limits?Well, from the look of it, it kinda looks more solid than the other one did. The other one kinda had spots where the texture seemed to be more transparent for no reason near the bottom...
I don't think so, their remakes have been pretty good (even if it's really been TOSE handling them), as have the Kingdom Hearts games. And complain about the gameplay and stories in recent games all you want, they're absolutely gorgeous. Presumably they'd keep FF7's gameplay and story intact if they remade it.The "remakes", for the most part, aren't remakes but ports. With updated translations, and a few added dungeons... And aside from that, they haven't even touched the 3-d games. They're afraid to because they limit themselves on world maps now, because it would take too much time to make it look good. Which means no real traveling, you'd just be going in a marathon effect like you have been since X. You don't get to go back in X most of them time until the end of the game. At which point there isn't much you can't one shot aside from super-bosses and such... Really, unless they could make an exact copy of VII minus the bugs/glitches, and with updated graphics/ maybe battle engine it really probably won't be worth it. And if they DO remake it, it will likely be FF XIII in a different setting with a different plot. And while I have heard XIII is better than it was expected from SOME people, I have also heard it was worse than some people expected... so I'm not hoping on a remake any time soon. I'd rather the remake be done by fans.
i dont think much has been done to experiment with fully custom animations, but how would it work in game space, for example, to animate cloud flying through the enemy, you would animate that in kimera, but in the game, where is the point of origin in regards to the target, and is this constant for all enemies?I would honestly have to say if you were going to custom animate a Omni. Ver 5 then I would probably have to be a single target... It would just be easier that way. Or, Idk if it would be easier, but you could technically just say that it hits everyone in one slash, and he just kinda flies through the middle of the stage a few times :\? Idk, just some thoughts.
Fill me in on the details of how custom animations work and i could start storyboarding it out (i'd be most interested in animatin teh custom limit brake)
EDIT: srry, in kimera, do you animate wiht the bones themselves, or the objects? also, is there IK support?
Oh yeah! That's omnislash ver.6 which is glowier and 12 hits.Which is essentially a spiffy looking Omnislash with multiple swords....>>
