actually, i don't drink because i was kinda forced to drink it by my dad when i was younger, i just can't stand the taste of alchahol anymore.

however, i enjoy the next best thing. SUMMERSAUSAGE

It depends on what you drink, but i agree most alcohol tastes horrible the first time you drink it. But persistence pays off!

I enjoyed my first beer, that was a few years ago, the guy who gave it to me thought the stuff was disgusting but I downed the entire bottle, although I'm not sure if it was my first since I heard that I was fed alcohol when I was a baby, just a rumor though, never actually made a habit out of it, too much damn problems with alcohol addiction in the family, though I can see why

Yeah, my family doesn't have alcohol problems, but I wouldn't be surprised if I developed one at some point in my life. Although, if you know you could potentially develop a problem, I would figure you can see yourself developing said problem, and thusly stopping it.

oh well, it didn't run terribly well on my computer anyway, and beyond that, even if I wanted to use some of the smaller parts of it like the new materia textures and whatnot, the installer doesn't like to set it up properly, so it doesn't work =(

Stuff like different materia in the installer is tied to having the main GUI installed with it.

Yeah, that there happens to be my problem. I don't want the main GUI since that also makes the game run like crap on my system (it's just a netbook, cut me some slack)

Yeah you are out of luck then. The materia are on the same texture sheets as a bunch of other stuff.
