This does sound like a problem with your main board.  I could understand not wanting to invest a great deal in an aging platform and I can also see the use in a spare machine doing some server or VPN tasks.  I would suggest checking CraigsList or FreeCycle.  You never know, you might get lucky and find the board or an entire system with the compatible socket.  That way if your CPU was fried as well, at least you got an additional one with your purchase.

He didn't say anything negative about your videos.  Tell me what you think is so negative about the word gay.  To be fair you're not calling anything of ChaosControl's material anything negative because he's not posting trash on the world largest video site then spamming forums about it.  So you got this all over your videos:

So you don't want critiques on your videos?  If people think your videos are god-awful and display absolutely no talent, myself included, why can't we tell you?  You know any publicity is good publicity, so I'd let Chaos or anyone else shout from the highest mountain that your videos are gay.  There's nothing negative about it anyway and it gets word of mouth out there, right?  So why do you want to be noticed?  Did you have a troubled childhood, not enough attention?  Is becoming an "internet celebrity" your biggest aspiration in life?

Alright I'll offer you some constructive criticism.

Step 1:
Learn an actual unique talent. (Not pretending to sing to poor dance music)

Step 2:
Develop the talent so it's actually good.

Step 3:
If your going to post your talent, be prepared for both praise and criticism.

To sum it all up I agree with ChaosControl's review.  Two thumbs up on your gay videos!

Okay well regardless of how unoriginal or lame others think your mod is, you can't keep posting over and over again creating different threads.  Just because others don't care about your mod, you can't keep breaking the forums rules.  There is a Qhimm Wiki that you should check out that describes the file formats and editing tools available.  The forum also has this amazing button that you could use.  Search a general topic you are inquiring about and it returns your search results.

I'm not sure why FF7 isn't playing the video for you.  It has worked for myself and many others.  Anyways, if you feel those settings will help I'll encode my source videos to those specs.  I'm sure getting a compression of another compression isn't desired.  Just give me some time, I've been a little busy lately.

Can you upload in another form? Can you convert them into .mpeg or whatever? Use X-Media Recode- it's the best free video converter I ever saw- but it also says, that there is no video source^^

Can I do something??? Sure...  I can suggest you make sure you have the Indeo 5 codec installed on your machine.  The fact that the audio is playing the video is not seems to be a clue that you have the audio codec, but not the video codec.  If you are using a codec pack that uses ffdshow, check the configuration menu to be sure the codec is enabled.

Depends on what type of 3d designs you wish to make.  I've used AutoCAD for a number of years.  Any version from AutoCAD 2000 and up should be sufficient for drafting and even some 3d or isometric drafting.  If you're referring to 3d modeling, I would start with Blender because you can get your feet wet into modeling and if it's not for you, it's a free program so no worries.

The administrator of the forum has also specifically asked that this very behavior not be done, because he would be the one receiving any notifications from whatever IP someone is stealing.

You could always rip the Moogle from FFXI and replace the save point model with that.  I'm sure you would have to change the default animation as well.

Maybe try downloading DVD Identifier to get the exact drive model and firmware you are using, then look to see if there is a firmware update available.  However, I would do this as a last resort.  Try different burning softwares such as CDBurnerXP or reinstalling your burning software of choice.  Nero and Roxio have been known to have issues with certain drives.

Who said that its not our only destiny to have sex and multiply? How we do this is up to us. You cant just decide what humans do wrong or right. RIGHT opinions about anything in life are just illusions created by human brain: I mean if one didnt know ANYTHING about the laws of todays society one could never tell if a murder is something wrong or right. Justice does not exist. It's just a thing humans driven by their thirst for power(which developed out of their hunting/surviving instinct in the humans early days) created to control others(if you do not obey, youre going to jail). No one can tell if something is wrong or right..

..and this is the reason why I dont believe in god. If theres no justice from the origin of the universe on, then there can be no justice for god. I mean whats right for god? and whats considered as a sin? We cant know so we cant know how to ascend to heaven. Theres absolutely nothing that contradicts against this for example: Fight, and the last survivor may enter heavens paradise. Who tells us that this is not what god wants? The Church? hahaha! How should they know? They cant either....so please just write something about your believes and do not criticize others.

Seriously it's just two weeks shy of seven years since someone has posted in this topic.  Whatever Qhimm's project "is" I'm sure would become a "was."  If anything was still in development, I'm sure he would post on his own forum within seven years.  Is this a new record for necroposting?  The furtherest one I saw dated five years back.

In the future, please make a new topic linking to this one if you wish.  This just looks foolish.

Rename 01 to world_us.lgp and replace.

Does this work with the HIGH res patch or no?

Yes it does.  My steps are as follows:

• Full Install
• Apply 1.02 Patch
• Apply High Res Patch(chocobo patch is included)
• Apply all YAMP patches desired
• Install PRP
• Rename 00 to char.lgp, rename 01 to world_us.lgp, and replace
• Apply any other mods, movies, avatars, etc.
• Create your own No-CD.exe

Don't ask about the last one, I get enough SPAM in my email from people thinking I'll just send them "da Kingdome Harts tow mod3lz"
