They made a Legend of Dragoon D&D charater, called the Dragoon.  It made fighters look obsolete, but it was pretty stupid since all of the names were from Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy VII, like Volcano and Omni-Slash.  If someone makes an actual FF based D&D world that would be pretty cool.

Dungeons and Dragons is so much harder than FFVII and FFIX... compairing it to FFVIII the first time is a little different... but D&D is more battle oriented unless you have a DM who (like mine) likes confusing the crap out of you... (We play in a world alot like the Lord of the Rings.)  I don't know...

·   The report was allegedly made by an “anonymous” security consultant. Neither this consultant nor any others have contacted StreamCast directly to report a breach in security.

·   Several false postings have been made on behalf of StreamCast and Morpheus. One was reported by a source named Paul Sarsfield, who claimed to be a “Morpheus” employee. StreamCast does not employ any person by that name, nor have any StreamCast employees or company representatives posted any responses to this matter.

·   There has never been a security breach in Morpheus since its introduction in April 2001.}

I can kinda sympathize with you Intel... I play D&D 3rd Edition with a couple of friends from school.  The person who got me into it, his dad is our DM... well now he doesn't like D&D anymore because he thinks that it is satanic...  :weep:

the complicatedness (is that a word?) of FFVII is the coolest thing about it... I have the players guide for it and I refuse to read ahead so that nothing is spoiled becuase it's cool... that is the whole point of FFVII is to mess with your head... and the random battles in D&D are basically the same as in FF (you simply roll a 20 sided die to see if there is a random encounter every hour and everytime you go to a new room...)

Yeah the pictures there are really cool.  umm... since this is a conversation about translating mangas and japanese... does anyone know what the japanese writing in FFVII means... or is there like a patch for it or something for all of the billboards and whatnots?

FFVIII runs just fine on my XP Pro (Pentium III, 256meg, Direct X 8.?) but FFVII freezes on the Chocobo Races...

I don't hate SquareSoft either... but I do disslike some of their business decisions.  They don't make the best of them.  They should a little more nice to those of us who do not have the money to go buy every game system that comes out... so just release a version for Sony and one for PC (mAc too if they feel like it).  oh well... (sigh) if corporations were as smart as the common person they would make more money an the common person wouldn't be smarter than the average corporation (we would all be happier as well).

I love FFVII I got it about 2 years ago for the computer and I still haven't beat it. :weep:  The main reason is I don't play very often but the other reason would be that I drastically upgraded my computer from a pentium 166 to a pentium III 600.  And it now runs whooo!  FFVII is the bomb but I like the others (FFVI better) as well.

*gack!* Me better than XP....?!?!? *starts choking and strangling himself* Windows Cr+ (Me) is so junky that I won't even talk about it.... XP has only crashed on me once, and basically it was just so that I could prove that I had done so. +Cr means crap edition
